Arocs all gone at £107 by the looks of it. Good luck selling those in future if you bought many at a higher price.

Fingers-crossed that Tesco restock, keep the lower prices AND have 3-for-2. It's happened before on discounted sets.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Just compare actual prices of flagship Technic models like 42009 /retired 2015/ and 42030 /-II- 2016/. Due to incoming set(s) Arocs is a white star :-)

yes agree 42043 a potential winner, but Tesco direct a gamble with outer box condition, making it hard to sell on as new.get ready for Tatty box time.

Don't know about how anyone else feels about these, but my days of stashing the larger sets has gone. Will buy for personal build, but prefer to now buy 10 smaller sets for the same money and make twice as much profit in the same time span.

Takes up less shelf space, not subject to fraud as often and makes for an all round easier life :-)

yup that game is over in the UK, i'm not missing carting those larger boxes to post office.

anything over £150 unless it has at least 40 per cent discount I wont even look at.let alone buy.

is it a poor seller anyone.

It’s more about smyths and higher priced sets, than one set in particular.

Smyths haven’t moved anywhere near the amount of high priced sets this year compared to the last few.  Their 20% off all toys in prior years accounted for most of the sales and the general 20% of every £50 this year, people just stayed away.

I don’t know if it’s resellers staying away,  Lego slight fall out of fashion (off the 2015 high), People moving to other toys/games, People just spending less overall.   But sentiment on high priced sets has fallen of.

Mid priced are doing just fine at the 20%+ discount level.

This will bells on. I keep seeing my Tumblers out of the corner of my eye and for every one of those there could be about the better part of a dozen smaller Ideas sets.

You and I, both...  I was thinking of building one this Christmas, just to clear some shelf space.

The part-out value on BL (£295) is still £70 more than the average selling price.

I take solace in that at least I don't have the double figure numbers in stock that many on here do. Sorry guys!

21019 Eiffel Tower is again reduced to £17.99 on Amazon UK, I just ordered another 2.

Oh... just ordered another 5 too from JL at £17.99 each. EOL can't be long, right?

It must be, surely, with this discount coming again so soon.

Yeah, in another year or two.

Remember my Boots order of 30x "41121 Friends Aventure Camp Tree House" for £24.99 each plus TCB and points?

When I went to collect...

18x were 41122 Tree House - result! (sold all yesterday for £40 each cash)

12x were 41121 Rafting - rejected and refunded.

Having both in stock may account for the incorrect description on their website.

TCB doing 20% cashback on shop at home for the next few days, that's if it actually tracks at that rate.

Only really useful for the odd exclusive as everything else can probably be picked up cheaper elsewhere.

UK mobile phone users on O2 qualify for a free 40223 Snow Globe via the O2 Priority app when spending only £15 at LEGO UK.

Wow, so even the shipping department didn´t know how to prepare the order.

LOL - their loss not mine and I'm always happy to benefit from a retailer's cock-up ;-)

At least I collected them rather than having them left outside in heavy rain like last time!

20% @ TCB and free snow globe with a £15 spend.
I can smell desperation and it’s not even BF week.

And if the TCB doesn’t track at that rate you can always call Lego and cancel the order ;)
