October 26, 20178 yr Ah, Tesco 3 for 2, how we have waited for you, even yearned for you. Some have doubted you, some have even claimed you are bad for their business, others frolic in delight at the thought of your arrival. Credit cards are buffed and shined, cash is straightened out immaculately using trouser presses. Keyboards are expertly positioned for the exciting moment when you go live and we can all fill our boots, that's trunk for you Yanks, with delectable delights from the beautiful selection of Lego sets from those great purveyors of the Danish toy we all love so much. It was last time on anything £100 or more, however this time they have made that restriction wider. The Volvo @ £59.99 is limited to 2, as is the Mercedes garage. This will be fun.

It's like Tesco knows what people will be going for based on likely retirements. Just now, GregP said: Is it live nor showing for me Not until tomorrow or midnight tonight.

The stock levels have been like that for a week or so. I think maybe retailers aren't placing new pre Xmas orders on older sets. Maybe they learnt a lesson last year.
October 26, 20178 yr This doesn't seem any better than Argos style 3 for 2's if the prices stay the same. If anyone has been waiting all year for some great deals like last year, it looks like they will be dearly disappointed. Lots of things that were on offer a couple of days ago have now gone back up in price too. Wouldn't waste my time and money on it this time around. I was keeping an eye on the Louvre but even the partner sellers on Tesco's website are selling it cheaper than Tesco.

Couldn't agree more... starting to get annoyed with retailers non sale sales... they jack the prices up to the extent that its no longer a good deal. Had stuff in my basket for a couple of weeks and every time I have checked again the prices have been creeping up. Only good deals I have seen recently mean you have to be in store when they clearance stuff because if you aren't, someone else will arm sweep the lot and poof it's gone... getting tired of seeing empty rows of clearanced sets... not tired really... just envious
October 26, 20178 yr Picked up 4 City Airports in store on Monday for £44.99 and left a crushed one with a big hole in it. Had a look today and it is still there but the price is RRP.
October 26, 20178 yr Porsche 911 still at 200 quid at Tesco but max 2 units...... There are a handful of no brainers with possibility to get 3 or more too! Edited October 26, 20178 yr by Val-E
October 26, 20178 yr I wonder if there’ll be basket errors when Tesco shoppers log in after midnight? I’m only after one set which hasn’t been mentioned on here yet. If it’s limit 2, I have something else in mind. Don’t worry, I’m only ordering Xmas presents and only if it’s a good deal. Anyway, what’s stopping you making multiple orders? I remember giving staff at my local Tesco Express over 30 different order numbers last year! Keep an eye on Amazon/Asda/JL tomorrow for any price matches.

JL still beats Tesco's 3-for-2 on these.

October 26, 20178 yr Was well worth staying up last time but my bed is mighty tempting even though the 3 for 2 logos are temporarily appearing.

Seen logo's appearing and note at bottom of item listings mentioning 3 for 2 offer which have since disappeared again. Not going through yet though.
