There's camelcamelcamel for tracking Amazon prices.

Subscribe to emails for all toy shops but it's mainly checks of websites and having an intimate knowledge of real RRP prices. If a good deal gets on to hukd it's usually too late.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Just wondering if anyone has any tricks of the trade for locating discounts. HUKD plus the Daily Lego deals are my go too. Are there any channels other than manually looking??? Want to be able to give a little back to the BP family should I find anything but I'm to slow off the mark

Here's 2 more resources that helped me in the past when I was buying.

https://www.offeroftheday.co.uk/kids-nursery/lego

https://eventnext.co.uk/events/bargains/

Event Next often announces the next Tesco 3-for-2 sale before the HUKD brigade start broadcasting it to the whole universe. I'm done with investing so I don't mind sharing this.

This isn't a bad deal at Tesco. Not on HDUK and also cheaper than Amazon has ever been. 52% off RRP.

LEGO City Ferry 60119

Yeah I picked up a couple I already had a few that I'd picked up at £14 before. It's gone a bit under the radar as Tesco have the RRP as 19.99 not 24.99

Debenhams seem to have priced the new Knight Crawler Tunnel Attack incorrectly, it's 45% off on the UK site if anyone is looking for one for themselves this early.

Good find. Ugly set though. QFLL for a tenner... Not me...

FYI, my two most recent buys:

70909 The Batman Movie Batcave Break-In @ £65.49 from Smyths (40% off)

75883 Speed Champions Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team @ £60.00 from ASDA (30% off)

Best wishes all.

Just ordered one on Amazon.co.uk with a 50 percent discount.

Me too. But it's 50% of Dutch RRP, otherwise it's just 32% off Amazon UK RRP ;)

im not seeing the 50% discount? showing as £74.99

Well, EU mainland RRP is 169.99€ which equals almost £150.

Thank Smyths for overstocking and creating the original promo. Amazon are just wheelsuckers who never discount anything unless someone else does first.

Sounds like a steal. :jester:

Hmmmm, I have this set called an Exo-Suit, only €200, a complete steal at that price, if you're interested :thumbsu:

It's only a steal if you're talking about "stealing" my hard-earned money for it.
