At that price, is it worth considering parts out???

At that price it´s worth considering as a cat look out tower, doorstop or even as a personal build!

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Well, you could also fill it with kitty litter and use it as a cat WC. It´s a turd of an investment set, literally.

Couldn't agree more but when you weigh the piece count against say a battle pack and the poss of the film in 2019 it may become viable. I highly highly doubt it but I am be willing to take a punt. If all fails the cat is happy [emoji76][emoji76][emoji76]

I happen to think Battle on Scarif is a good set, and goes very well with extra minifigures from other sets. However, anything less than a 50% discount should be avoided. I had no issue getting it for half price. £20 for Takodana is very good for those who managed to get it.

Just bought 5 Hulk vs Red Hulk 76078 off Amazon for £9 each. Could be a mistake and I get a Mighty Micros set instead, but great price if they do arrive.

Definite bug. Now shows that price at quantity 1, 9 in stock but if you 1 click or add to basket it says item no longer available. Upping quantity also sets it to 45

Great deal. Just tried every which way but no luck. Amazon must have spotted it pretty quickly.

I receive instant email notifications when there's a new post in this thread, but that means I also get notified of those almost hourly automatic posts from Max Profit. It's becoming a pain. Any way we can get them reduced without affecting notifications for other posts?

Toys R Us have 50% off 76075 Wonder Woman Warrior Battle in store if your local store has stock.

I usually avoid SH sets but this is a TRU & SAH exclusive that has only been out since May and seemingly TRU want to clear their stock. Could this be the next short run set?

Friends Heartlake Grand Hotel is £63.99 on Amazon which is the cheapest I've seen it anywhere.

Tesco are offering 2000 Clubcard points on Lego for £120 spend, 1000 for £60 spend and 500 for £30.

Some half price sets on sale at Toys R Us according to HUKD.

I'm going to do my best Val-e impression.

Still too dear for the Grand Hotel, nothing worth buying in Tesco even with the points back and none of the half price sets are available for delivery.

Boo urns to that, I say.

Wake up, Tesco's 3 for 2 is on. (disclaimer, this is obviously not true, we talking about October now)

Yup still too dear IMO, especially when it was £25 at Tesco several months back.

£25 for the Grand Hotel?! I must have missed that one!

As regards the Tesco sale, there is huge value in the clubcard points. You just need to break even on the sets or even just a small loss would be acceptable.

There's nothing on there that I won't get a better deal for when they do their next 3 for 2 in October though.

I'm not so sure. The last Tesco 3 for 2 (in March? April?) wasn't great. The only Star Wars set worth buying then was the Resistance X-Wing (75149). I picked 3 up for about £39 each. Everything else was too much. Hopefully the seasonal price war will improve things.

Not saying Tesco 3for2 is worth it based on current prices, just that it would still be better than this clubcard offer. Hopefully the seasonal price war will create some must haves in the 3 for 2's later in the year.
