One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Apparently there is a huge toy sale in Asda stores. Some reporting on HUKD that it has gone live today, others say it was live earlier in the week. Worth checking your local. Can someone report back?

Tesco stores still have some discounted Lego. Nothing major in the stores I visited yesterday (Walken and Farnworth) but worth a look.

Smyths are doing a giveaway instore on 27th May. Free gift bags with Lego and other toys. Sadly I doubt this will include Death Stars or Technic Porsches.

No really big discounts anywhere for a while, much to my frustration.

All good things litefoot, all good things.

Super hero high school very cheap on Amazon UK but not sure about it for investment purposes.

2000 Tesco CC points for £120 Lego spend

1000 points for £60 Lego spend

500 points for £30 Lego spend.

Raise the prices to close to RRP, then offer miserly points in return.

Maybe a reflection of the wider market. Nothing has tempted me of late.

Indeed. May has been a disappointing month. I keep checking HUKD but it's a never ending stream of Asda and Tesco (local store only) discounts on medium/small sets.

I don't mind prices close to RRP if Lego:

  • Produce less sets.
  • Keep discounts to a minimum.
  • Avoid long runs.

I won't be holding my breath, especially as the large retailers are the kings.

Surely not on this forum though [emoji1]

Check HUKD for some good Amazon UK deals... eg. Sanctum Sanctorum for £14.00 and Arctic Roller for £17.99. Don't worry, I've left them well alone ;-)

cheers

Some great deals, been saving all my amazon vouchers from quidco, time to spend them now.

Pretty big discounts! Good deals

Guess I'm not going to bed early after all today.

Are they price matching someone?

None of the majors seems to have these prices but maybe it´s time to shovel out the turds before the 1st June sets come o stream.

For anyone buying, please consider using the links in this thread to support the site :good:

75099 Rey's Speeder is currently £9.99 on Amazon, with a limit of 2.

I don't see it linked on here, but apologies if I missed it.

I've also seen it at several Tesco and Sainsburys branches for £10. Hmmm... another victim of over-production?
