All mine came in boxes, just a shame the packer yet again couldn't count. I always have sets missing when I order from Tesco

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Tesco now have most out of stocks back in stock (Dr Strange, Buck Palace, Elves etc)... but wait... all back up to RRP.

Do I believe they had a large Lego shipment arriving on Sunday? Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky.

It's not Tesco selling them, It's Jadlam models and Howleys Toys. If you select 'Sold by Tesco' it should remove all the sets that are OOS at Tesco

You're right - I stand corrected! The partners must be working closely with Tesco although some lines are not 3 for 2.

The free shipping with no minimum spend at SAH seems to have ended, they probably figured that the Beetle, triple VIP and free shipping on all orders was probably being a little too generous.

Yup, it was till the 9th. Next end date is 20th April for Beetle and 23rd April for 3xVIP.

Forget it :-) I assume, the VW will end by tomorrow...

But the ending of free shipping was former known...

And still the Heroes of Justice, Sky High Battle won't shift. Says a lot. All the promos could bring the buy in of this down to about €10 and still no one wants it.

Tesco, what on Earth are you up to?.....

As you can see, the pricing errors are back. Be ready to jump when they're in our favour ;-)

Can someone explain me why there is still free shipping in Germany for orders over 40 Euro only???

I have placed severals orders today between 40 and 60 Euro and all had free shipping included...

Some good deals at Argos at the moment. A couple of examples:

Krennic's Shuttle: £49.99

U-Wing: £44.99

£5 voucher back when you spend £50 and £10 back when you spend £100.

Dobbies in Lisburn has Star Wars buildables at -70%, speaking to the guy at the checkout it seems like they only put out the Star Wars stuff on Tuesday. Aside from that there was one Nexo set, one Bionicle set and lots of one Friends Juniors set (horse and carriage) discounted

Very have 20% of almost all Lego at the moment, so quite a few items are cheaper than Amazon.

Very useful thread, this.

There's a gent on Amazon Marketplace selling Lego Friends Heartlake Supermarket for £21.99 postage free.

I'm not surprised, this tanking theme is hard to get rid of at a profit. I passed on 3 of these at £11 at Dobbies on Sunday, no regrets whatsoever. For those of you that have a Dobbies nearby, some new stock may have arrived at 70% off.

Unfortunately my closest Dobbies is Clifton near Preston which is too far for me to go. I would have been a buyer at that price. Did they have any other Lego Friends sets? I'm looking for the Pizzeria and Stephanie's House amongst others. I might try and get someone who lives nearby to go in.

I picked up a few Friends sets at 70% off in Dobbies, will make birthday present fodder which is a profit in itself (£2.70 present looks like it cost £9 plus time saved having to go look for something)

Which Friends sets did they have?

Smyths have 60125 City Heavy Lift Volcano Helicopter reduced to £59.99 from rrp of £109.99.

At that price there has to be some profit in it?

Eh, no, there doesn't. Very little interest in this theme and it's still not that cheap. I wouldn't be going near it.

Someone buying from you will want at least 35% off rrp... If you have to factor in fees and shipping, poof! You're losing money...

This is a no-keep for the future retirement days of this set.

8 figs, over 2kg Lego with a stack of Grey and B(M)urps, yes there is value in this at £60.
Of course you’re not going to be able to flip it for double RRP 2 weeks after Lego declare it EOL, which seems to be the only thing people care about these days.

60125 seems a lot rarer than 60124 (which has always been heavily discounted) which is why I bought one in Smyths (Reading) yesterday morning. It's for a cousin's son (for Xmas) who just loves helicopters, but doesn't have a lot of money. I may pop back to get another to complete the Volcano theme.

BTW... I noticed that The Entertainer had some LEGO sets at BOGOFF eg. Friends Tree House. It may be worth popping into your local to see what's on offer. Even though we seem to have more and more good sales these days, it does scare me somewhat.
