One General question: Why has the name of this thread changed to Daily LEGO Deals - UK? It was formerly for UK and EU? Is this still the place to post and look for deals in Germany for example?

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

I think the Mack's are spliting them in to country specific sections. I dont remember seeing one for Germany but there was one for Spain and I think I saw a message saying let them know if there is an area/country you are in and would like one.

About 9 messages down :)

Jeff's splitting it for the Amazon daily deals, but we probably still need one page to put all the deals we see ourselves, since in some cases we can buy across territories.

42055 BWE only 115 GBP on Amazon UK. That´s the lowest I´ve seen it and is a pretty good price, especially if converted into Euros.

It was the same price a few weeks ago, when they price matched ASDA. Unfortunately, someone from here mentioned the £115 Amazon price on HDUK, and there were no more at Amazon suddenly

I suspect £115 is going to be the standard "99% of the time rock bottom price", outside really special offers, and multibuys with starting prices at less than RRP. I can't see it often going below £115

For any US buyers who want their fill of Friends Treehouses at 50% off plus good exchange rate, now is your chance.

The problem here is that they're unlikely to be worth more than that in the future. Even the top Friends sets rarely reach RRP after fees.

Collect 500 extra Clubcard points when you spend £30 or more on LEGO Disney Princess.

500 points = £5.00 so not that a great deal

Tesco Direct only

That 46% discount on 8293 Technic PF is clearly nonsense

I think it's the misleading RRPs on Amazon that hoodwink naive buyers into paying over the odds for everything, not just LEGO. These sellers are nothing but lying scum!

Not a deal, but I think the dream is over when the lady dealing out the ASDA click and collect items says (a) a man came in yesterday and bought enough big Lego sets to fill a big van and (b) she bought her first investment set this morning

Pack your bags folks. Let the race to the bottom begin. Not a euphemism

That will be all the Technic sets that Asda had for 30% off, the influx of those sets over the last week on eBay UK has been ridiculous.

so...

Free shipping at LEGO Shop at Home until 9th of April, so 6 days where it overlaps with the mini Volkswagen Beetle promo, which only needs a €40 buy in.

I noticed it too.  Got one 42043 & 42054 left to sell.

I got my stash £30 cheaper & they have undercut me by at least £10.

UK Royal Mail are increasing prices from 27MAR so don't forgot to stock up on 1st/2nd class stamps this week. It's not going up by much, but those processing in volume may save a couple of quid. Stamps are inflation-proof and can be used for part payment of a parcel.

Great news for eBay as they can rip us off for even more from the unfair FVF on postage!

I'm going to test the water and add another 50p postage to my eBay listings from 27MAR. I'm NOT taking the piss as I don't charge for bubble-wrap and boxes. How on Earth can some sellers afford to post free?

The media say that UK post offices are suffering. This is utter bollocks as I see massive queues at every post office I go to at all times of the day. And.... they are milking the ever increasing amount of online sellers. The sooner that RM is re-nationalised the better!

As long as the goverment buys them back at 200% of the share price. As they are pretty solid for me.

BTW... If you haven't noticed, some Royal Mail prices have dropped. I now pay £3.90 (was £3.95) for a 2nd Class Signed For parcel. I posted 60 items today so that's a £3 saving. Every little helps as Mr Tesco would say ;-)

Great, get us excited that there might actually be a deal posted, then it's a blank post.

calm down.  Went through a tunnel there, so connection lost.  Anyways, TRU are doing their usual easter promo, where you get £10  voucher off.  However, this year it is £40 spend, whereas last year if I recall, it was less.  they've got some good reductions on larger sets at the moment, like £50 off helicarrier and GBHQ.  Star Wars Constraction sets have 35% off.
