Yes more than likely, but if anything like previous March 3 for 2 events it wont be a patch on the pre Christmas ones, but will probably be the odd gem.

It's just a rumour but, I will post it on here and NOT on HUKD ;-)

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

A side tracking question, but why do you post on there at all?

I've heard rumours of a Tesco 3-for-2 over Easter.

No please not yet.  Just started churning out the stuff i bought at xmas.

Even though its not the same sets i bought before xmas, its still indirect competition.  Why pay double for a Dairy Milk bar when you can get a Yorkie bar for less than have the price.

Also havent seen it posted here or hukd but 41171 Emily & Baby Dragon were £3.30 in Asda for the last 2-3 weeks.
Series 1 Mighty Mircos Superheroes from £3.20 - £5
SW micro fighters was £2.50 (AT-AP?) Others have been under the £5 range bu cant remember which ones were which prices.

they have insiders, they will know about this offer before us for sure.

its no secret 3rd week in March,Tesco will clear out lots of stock better than giving even more money to the taxman.,

dont get too excited it wont be a patch on the pre xmas event.

Why wont it be as good I hear you ask, because Argos will already have had their 3 for 2,and raised their prices back to normal and Tesco will be price matching their inflated prices,

When is the Argos 3 4 2?

seriously it only takes about 5 minutes research to get a good idea of when it will be,ok  I will simplify history has a habit of repeating itself.

IIRC it usually starts on the first monday of half term, so it should be the 10th April

Although it's best to check on friday 7th april to make sure, just in case it's a friday start like the winter 3-for-2's

I check the major sites on a regular basis so would have come across it at somepoint but cheers for the heads up, very decent of you to answer the question.

Deliberately alerting HDUK'ers can be useful for clearing the last remnants of retired lines.

Seems to make a few of them quite angry about reselling!

The funny thing is that TabbyBoy on HKUD is somebody else's ID that I also use sometimes. That's why there's some confusing posts on there. However, it's just me that posts on BP and I just decided to use the same name AND... I have a tabby cat!

Take HUKD with a pinch of salt and only check the deals.

Yes, HUKDers get angy quite easily and our ID has been suspended twice. Some people are either jealous or can't handle the truth. I don't really care as you still see the offers without logging in.

I also look at the offeroftheday and eventnext websites.

How do you use somebody else's ID on HUKD?

Probably best to avoid directing HDUKers towards current deals on sets that are mid-life, no? I can understand if there's a need to clear those last few stubborn sets where they're hanging around at more than your own buy in, even with a sale, but is there value to, say, clearing all the BWEs out of amazon.co.uk, creating a temporary shortage? I think not, as won't people just wait, as there's life left in the set? Although you could argue that HDUKers would be less likely to know that

20% off all Lego at Toys R Us until Sunday for loyalty card holders. Don't see a lot worth buying for investment purposes, however. If you're after a modular or something for personal use then it may be worth it (especially if you have the monthly £5 or £10 monthly vouchers that also came through today).

Boots UK have a 3-for-2 offer on 31 sets based on RRP, but you can also get an extra 10% off an £80+ spend using code VCSMAR80 until 11MAR.

I've not seen this on HUKD as a lot don't realise that Boots sell LEGO.

Fill yer Boots ;-)

Picked up 3 Stormtroopers and 3 Darth Vaders for £71.99

Mrs is also happy as she gets the points on her card. Although the italics pasted code doesn't work - you have to type it manually.

Thanks for sharing @TabbyBoy

Have a look instore too.  Was returning school trousers to Next last week & popped into Boots to get my free o2 priority coke / aero.

Got 3 x My First Bus (10603) for £3.99 each + 3 for 2.   3 sets for £8.  But.... it scans £13 each plus 3 for 2 doesnt kick in.  So cashier went to see label & manager gave it at label price without me having to ask her.  I noticed she came back with 3 price labels, (1) a 3 for 2 with £3.99 label, (2) a £3.99 label & (3) a £13 label.  All three labels said "My First Bus".

Had quick search through brickset and noticed 10851 My First Bus (remake for 10603).  I figured out what happened.
