One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Everybody should like a set with planes at 50% off. Just look at retired sets with planes in them. I'm tempted but, flipping just 3 isn't worth my while. It's FRIENDS that a lot don't like as they're often turkeys at 50% off.

SAH Poland - Sandcrawler, Ewok Village, BigBang Theory and.. Wall-E -- available (!)

Not in stock any more on SAH Germany

On a similar note... I bought 3x 60110 for 60% off from Amazon Spain. They have some sweet discounts going. The limit doesn't bother me as my budget is tight and I would buy more of them anyway. Firestation for the win! Or maybe not?

I'd flip it asap close to RRP if I were you. My reason is that CITY "emergency services" sets are constantly refreshed and kids seem to want the latest and greatest and this is not an AFOL set. Flipping an £85 set for say, £65 with a £34 buy-in is a nice easy £20 profit after fees. Just don't expect this set to reach RRP after retirement as there'll be a newer (and perhaps better) one out to replace it.

Anyhow... they've just put the price back up again!

41101 Enemies Grand Hotel will be £95.00 when it's back in stock at Tesco ;-(

Even though I've no immediate plans to buy again, I will set a Tesco LEGO page to open at say, 23:30 every night so that I can catch any 75% off "errors" before the HUKD lot broadcast it across the galaxy.

BTW... A friend (soon to join BP) ordered 2 each of 3 different 50% off Star Wars sets from SaH and the order has just been cancelled. It seems like the limit is a lot lower than advertised and he's never even ordered Star Wars from there before. Their new webshite really sucks and I'm going to tell them to stick my VIP account any day now. There's nothing that they can offer me that I can't get cheaper elsewhere with bigger limits and there's now no such thing as a truly "exclusive to LEGO" set.

Do these mistakes really happen on Tesco Etc ?

I can think of 5 in the last 4 months or so.

The m.falcon for £30, poe x-wing for ~£20 (both of these were in-store errors).

Then we have the friends hotel for £25 (currently), and the city shuttles and friends bus that were dirt cheap (Tabby knows these well).

I'm sure there was another one too recently.

£30 for a m.falcon holy shit lol

Correct, I drove to around a dozen branches when I first heard about this and snagged about 20 MFs for £30 each and flipped the lot for £65 a week later!

Shame that Tesco have fixed the 41101 pricing error from £25 back to £95.

If you're awake in the early hours, it's always worth browsing Tesco's LEGO pages as there is the occasional error in our favour. Just make sure you get what you want before letting anybody know and please don't tell HUKD otherwise they'd be gone in seconds! Asda have also made similar errors.

How many of those did you snap up at that price?

Old news! It will be a reseller´s misfortune as they will be keeping this set for years before being able to make a profit.

Remember that one well. I got the last 4 before they sold out.

Sandcrawler and Ewok Village still available. Big Bang Theory as well. But WALL-E is not available any longer.

By the way:

t_758_lego-star-wars_05-17_nl.gif.a7b60d8d0614df0ac3e49f08ee22d4e7.gif

Which means, 75060 Slave-1 and 75095 TIE Fighter for €160 instead of €200, and 75159 Death Star for €400 instead of €500.

And in case anyone wants to object that 20% discount is not enough ... In The Netherlands it's virtually impossible to get these sets cheaper than this!

Also in the store or only online? Thank you

I thought about more 21022 LM but, I already have enough to go with every 21006 WH that I have. The LM alone should still bring in £20 profit down the line. Nothing special appeared on Tesco/Asda overnight ;-(

I wish I was more au fait with parsing web page pricing as I'd then set up a "CamelCamelCamel" for Tesco/Asda to put anything at >75% off in my basket and set an alarm to wake me up!

As it stands, I've bought no LEGO for me in 2017.
