One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Seriously guys, it's all of about 2hrs since the brand new thread for this stuff was created and you're already off topic.

sorry...

Anyone who has O2 Priority Moments app (O2 network or resellers like giffgaff) SIM can get Promo vouchers to use at Lego.com for freebies. Two different codes available.

Thanks, I'm on O2 but the 2 freebies don't float my boat. However, I will use the code if I place another order within 2 weeks.

My O2 phone pays for itself as I always get freebies when I pass Boots, Halfords, Hotel Chocolat and Nero.

No worries, the thread was only just created today. I stickied the announcement post, but the automated updates from @Max Profit are also set to auto-sticky. I think you can only have one sticky post at a time.

Anyone know if you can use more than 1 promo code? Can't see a way of adding both on same order.

Ts & Cs: Your unique code cannot be applied to previous purchases or combined with any other discount, offer or free gift.

Palace Cinema back in stock at John Lewis for £101.99

might be wrong thread...

placed 2 orders last friday within quick succession both for T1' plus snow globes, they arrived together in separate boxes, only 1 had the globe in, thinking I might have cocked up ordering so close together I decided to give them a call. I told them it was missing form said order number and result they sending out the globe. Always worth a phone call. Had they said know the T1 would have been returned.

Why return a T1 anyway costing only £57.67 assuming you used Quidco? An easy tenner if you flip soon for RRP ;-)

Forgive me for only noticing now but, Quidco offer cashback with Collect+ for shipping, it's 7.7% for 2-5KG and 9.9% for 5-10KG parcels. I've never had a problem with them and it works out a lot cheaper than using Royal Mail plus insurance for heavier/larger parcels.

Not bad for a few sets from Tesco:

Too early for investment purposes. This should be around for another year with opportunities to buy at this price or better. Earlier in the year you could've got this for £95 at TRU

For £6.99 extra, I'll go to JL every time to get them in factory boxes. Thanks, I'll order a couple now while there's still 380 in stock. It's not often discounted and "has" to be the next to die and they may even give it the TH treatment as it is next in line.

So they'll take the Snow Globe away?

I would say that if it stays in your basket, you'll probably get both. Like you said, you could use both of the O2 codes at the same time.

Anyhow, the globe is automatically added by the website (not via a code) so you should be fine to get both.

Just a helpful reminder for you guys. For the last couple of months it's been around the next few days that Ebay have dropped the £1 & 50% off selling fees type offers, so maybe hold off posting something expensive for a day or 2 until you see if the offer lands again ;)

I have got many 5 eur rabbatt coupons, which were included in lego catalog sent with online orders. They are applicable from 1st December in lego stores and also online. Today I have tried to put the code to the "promo code" section during online shopping, but the system didnt decrease the amount by EUR 5 - nothing happen. Was somebody succesful in using it? Is it possible to combine several coupons in lego stores (for example using 10x coupons and buy something for EUR 50 without payment)?

Thanks - Do you know if this applies to both Business and Private sellers? I'm thinking of listing 300 sets (30 listings of 10 of each set) using BIN for about 10 days as 15DEC will be my last postal day before Satan Santa arrives. I'd like to shift some SSDs but, there's no way that eBay are getting a £75 FVF from me!

BTW... I've just noticed a Tesco loophole. I recently took the worst 6 boxes of the same set back to get a refund on them but, I was given a refund for all 6 not just the expected 4 (3-for-2). Hmmm..... It's so tempting to take the other 96 back and make an instant 50%? It's the equivalent of 2x after fees, boxes, postage & tax!

Anyone know how to change the settings so you don't have to see posts from certain members.

This Max Profit fella is driving me mad (sorry Jeff).

I was about to say the same thing, perhaps the URL below should be a sticky at the top of this thread?

http://www.brickset.com/buy/amazon/

I'm pretty sure that we all know about it already anyway ;-)

EDIT: Brickset really need to remove that incredibly annoying "Game" pop-up from their pages - I can no longer view them from my tablet!
