Well if they do, it will probably be only in-store as well due to their price matching policy. But the advantage is they have more stock and more stores.

I stacked my in store £15 gift cards and did 2 £100 transactions to receive another gift card for using my gift card, so got an extra £30 in gift cards through 2 transactions. Nuts nuts nuts.

Also got 2 free Rey buildable figures.

Well funny thing is I saw it on a street poster and couldn't find it on the site but just discovered it's in their regular folder (on the site) and not the Toy folder

It's a shame that my nearest TRU is so difficult to get to even though it's only 8 miles away. Their delivery process is the pits so, I've sent all orders back from this month. At least they've now sent me the prepaid shipping labels.

Doesn't cost much to give it a try but Carrefour are usually loaded with City/Friends/Star Wars and a bit of Technic. No exclusive (you wont find Modulars, Ideas, etc.), and their price are pretty bad from the start. You can usually find better discount online.

You can sometimes find some older sets. I found a headhunter, skyhopper and battle on saleucami not too long ago. Those kind of sets might be worth it at 33% off. I wouldn't buy any of the newer stuff, as any retailer in Belgium has very high prices to begin with.

I contacted Dreamland about the promotion. Sometimes they price match, sometimes they don't. I guess we'll see.

Update on the Dreamland stuff, apparently the lady at the helpdesk is doing overtime or she's just a workaholic. It's 20h00 here.

Anyway here's the reply:

The promotion is valid from 23/11 till 5/12. They are aware of the promotion and are following suit. You just have to go to a store and talk to one of the employees about it and "they will help you out'.

Not sure if this is only for the limited products they have at Carrefour, or if they are doing 2+1 on ALL Lego (!). Because I have no idea what sets they have at Carrefour, other than the stuff in the folder. I have sent another mail to confirm.

Fingers crossed and RIP to my credit card if they do decide to go 2+1 on everything.

As per Val_E's comment, there's nothing to stop LEGO from drastically reducing RRP if they're feeling the pinch. This will certainly screw up investors who bought close to RRP. It could happen once they've settled down from the recent massive expansion in production capacity. This is why I diversify into totally different products and LEGO provides a fraction of my income.

What kills us is HUKD members who want just a couple of sets posting the deals the second that they appear but, of course, it's a fair playing field for all. I've no idea what the deals will be like or if there will be any good deals at all. However, I will post a note on here before I fill the van up!

At this time, I will buy some non-exclusives from LEGO Shop at Home and hopefully get a couple of snowglobes.

Hate to burst the bubble, but Asda aren't doing Black Friday this year apparently.

I won't be setting my alarm at 01:00 as I've gotta be up for work later that morning and can't stand being too knackered all day any more (I'm too old for that nowadays). However, if other people choose to be up at that time and buy the s**t out of all the good stuff, then fair play to them I say. It is literally a case of 'If you snooze you lose', and I'm choosing to snooze, and that's my problem. I was mildly miffed when I couldn't add a few more Ecto's to my quota in the latest Tesco 3-4-2 but that was my own fault for having a lovely sleep that night lol. Anyway, yeah, if you want the good stuff you gotta be on your toes. You should all know that by now

Apparently it is being supplied by a Tesco partner - Jadlam Racing Models - not Tesco themselves, so I got charged the full whack for all three. Has anyone else been deceivedl by this trap and was there any recourse?

Always filter via suppliers and select tesco on 3 for 2 offers, as only tesco sold items count in3 for 2.

Only recourse is too return items I'm afraid.

would have been clear on the checkout page what they were going to charge. 3 for 2 discount is always applied prior to payment. Sorry looks like a newbie error. You can always send it back and get refund but it's a pain.

I noticed that, I believe (might get corrected though) that if its from tesco it says tesco direct as the first listing but if its sold out from tesco the cheapest 3rd party is the top listing and the tesco badge is low down (stating sold out). As for recourse Im not sure there is through tesco as its the 3rd party but tesco being tesco its worth calling customer services at least.

You need to switch search function to seller as Tesco only, they allow all sorts of 3rd party sellers now like Jadlam, although it is a little sneaky to keep the 342 symbol
