The Entertainer and ELC are also participating in the 15% Quidco cashback. ELC sometimes has offers on Duplo & Juniors which is often overlooked by resellers. The Entertainer can be good as they are normally the last to hold on to EOL stock.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

With 15% Quidco cashback, why not?

BTW... It wasn't me as I'm unsure of the performance of this one even though it's a lovely set.

I just have a couple but i think The Entertainer having it in stock and on eBay has held it back, probably throughout Europe.

Its gone from TRU site now too so at least we have some chance of value increasing.

The 15% TRU quidco + £15 voucher + Bricktober minifig pack would be good if some items were in stock online.  UCS Tie, Fairground Mixer etc

I think it's deliberate that Cashback not available for click and collect orders on a number of the bigger sets. Otherwise with the 15% cashback and the mini figures and £15 voucher, I'd buy a few fairground mixers

Cashback is normally paid net of VAT, so take off a sixth of the total paid and you should get 15% on that ammount.

They should make it clearer really.

Correct... as the Quidco Tesco Direct works out at 2.5% rather than 3% quoted - 1/6 less. Better than a kick in the teeth I suppose. I've got £208.38 tracked so far which is payable in mid DEC so it'll be handy for Xmas. Don't worry BP, I do use the affiliate links occasionally ;-)

Good price in Toysrus UK on the Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty, £49.99 and you can get the minifigures. Not available for delivery so no Quidco sadly.

Do you guys know how packing/ shipping from TRU UK is? And is stacking of the £15 Pound possible?

In my experience packaging from toysrus is excellent. As for stacking the voucher, I don't think you can online and you're not supposed to in store, but some checkout people will let you, so it's luck of the draw in store

The TRU voucher codes earlier in the year were stackable up to 5 even though they said you couldn't.

There's problems with TRU's website, it's impossible to add an item to your basket. I've tried Safari, IE11, Edge, Chrome & FireFox - none work, I give up!

But only if you used online the ones picked up in store (if that makes sense).  Those act like a gift card.

From what i recall the ones you get when bought online are in the form of a coupon code which arent stack-able (could be mis-remembering mind)

Will someone please stop posting all these offers. At this rate I'm going to have to cancel Christmas...

Just cancel it, there will be another next year.

I guess the shops are having just as much trouble selling Lego as some of us are. It will be interesting to see how TLG´s BF offers are this year compared to last year´s poor offering.

Can you imagine the pushing and shoving in the race to the check-outs? Not to mention tripping over unruly brats, sorting through dropped boxes and getting your shins bashed by pushchairs. Of course, it's basically a 3-for-2 but, I'm more or less sure that George will have to pull his finger out of his arse soon and give us some decent deals, right? Last month was the first time that I spent more than £12K on LEGO and it's not happening again this month! I need to offload about 2 million bricks to make space for next year's sales! Now... what could I MOC with that lot?

Why can't Xmas be every 4 years like the Olympics? You recover from one and there's another in your face! I know, let's move Xmas day to 29FEB ;-)

Seriously... The vast quantity of LEGO sets currently available is even making retailers struggle, not just us. This, I think, will result in another massive downturn for LEGO - they've simply got too greedy and have exceeded demand.

Not for me!

Just curious what the offers at SaH will be.

All LEGO half price and 20% off a £100 spend at George from midnight tonight until midnight tomorrow!

I made you look, I made you stare, I made you lose your underwear!

Just kidding, couldn't resist it - sorry!

Let's keep any good deals between us and those on HUKD can just work it out for themselves ;-)
