Whoever bought the clone turbo tanks / ender dragons made a killing, worked out at 67% off, I only noticed it once went oos.

Also limit of 3 must just of been added now, not when first went live. 

I think this Christmas selling period will really tell how the state of lego investing is going forward. I thought Ecto 1 was horded before, this has just multiplied that by 10 fold lol

Like tabbyboy said, don't go for obvious ones, and also sets that are on sale elsewhere as will be difficult to move if your buying for qf, and you should do very good. Until you realise everyone else had same idea as you then your stuck with it all till next year...

I've gone for sets that are already discounted, sometimes selling for >RRP and not often mentioned here ;-)

Just been looking at Amazon UK and even if they do decide to  match i don't think it will be great for those in Europe. 

Their lego stock looks to be massively depleted. Great news for fba sellers but bad news for buyers.

I tried to get some wall-e, but they denied all my german cc...damn it...sometimes you loose sometimes you loose big ;-(

The Porsche comes to 188 euros a shot at today´s exchange rate. Too soon and transport to Europe would be a lot but that´s probably one of the best deals there will be on this one.

this is really crazy..........looking at the Claas, 90 pounds, so 3 for 180 pounds...that's about 68 euro a piece............while my local store, just a kilometer away, sells it for 145 euro.

I can get 68 here too, no need to get 3  but it´s too soon for investment and bought mine for 100 a month back. Grrrrrrr

I would recommend quick flipping them to Europe, before you guys have trading barriers.

There's no rush on a lot of sets as I think this type of sale will happen again as more retailers start to match the Argos 3-for-2 offers. I've only ordered sets which are pending EOL. I've avoided Technic as those are around for a while and QFLLs will be all over them.

Sorry guys, it was me that cleared out the WALL-E and Trevi Fountain sets! I got in early when you could still enter 99 in the quantity field ;-)

I've avoided FRIENDS like the plague (a money-pit of a crap theme!)

Of course, it's still got to be processed and sent to the C&C Express shop at the end of my road.

really? in Spain?.....I can probably sell them at no time for like 115 euro (maybe even at 120-125)

I just had a quick look, the cheapest way to buy it in The Netherlands at a webshop is 135 euro

Yes, I buy modulars but will now hold back as recent sets aren't growing as well as hoped. There's also no such thing as an Exclusive in the UK as a lot of retailers sell everything that LEGO Shop at Home has.
