One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

must have plenty in stock, still showing available

I added 99x at first, but Tesco's guidelines are max 20x. I'll place another order of 20x tomorrow if still in stock.

Oh... Thanks GIF ;-)

EDIT... The HUKD brigade will wipe them out so I just ordered another 20x.

EDIT EDIT... Poof!

When would you expect to sell these Tabby?

It’s still early days for me to starting going heavy on this sort of stuff.

Sorry to butt  in but those boxes are great for flipping all year round, provided the buy-in is low enough. Some of them also do well post EOL and this is the biggest box right now and is an exclusive.

Plus they are good for boys, girls and adults. The perfect gift.

These are very good for parting out (by colour) and you can also download instructions to build other models. I'll keep them for a year and should then clear each one for £40+. If not, I can make a few phone calls and shift them for close to RRP as soon as EOL is on the horizon.

10704 for £15 is amazing value for so many bricks.

I was buying 5529 Basic Bricks (325pcs) for £6.99 (RRP £13.99) and easily selling them for £25 after EOL. People love these sets and £15 for 10704 (900pcs) is a no brainer to me.

Great baiting of the UKHD crew Tabby! Going to watch that HDUK post with glee as they take the bait and react!

"you meanie, my little boy / girl / other would have moved this set. Why did you have to buy them all... "

Half of the reason I follow this thread is to see when Tabby trolling HUKD.

Let's see how HUKD react to this wind-up:

Are you going to paste that image in the HDUK post? Hope so!

Would I do such a thing? ;-)

I found 10704 in stock in my local Tesco, but it was £30, and they refused to honour the Tesco direct price :(

Gutted, for the size of it, it was a bargain.

Same here. They have loads on the shelf. Knowing my luck, the price will come down later today!

Can you reserve them all just in case?

Cancelled 20 of mine as I ordered 2 x 20 and dont want to risk having them all cancelled, so some may show back in stock but probably not for long.

The Kwik-e-Mart I ordered from LEGO Shop at Home just arrived in mint condition. Bodes well for the rest of these retiring sets we're having to spam refresh for.

Mine too, the only questionable one I've had was the 75105 Falcon I got, the top corner is a tiny bit creased but not worth worrying about.

41485 and 41486 brickheadz £2.35, 75529 Praetorian guard £6.20 ,75526 elite pilot £4.95 at Tesco instore.

Picked up a few of each, would have got more but as usual plastered in security stickers so left a lot on the shelf.

Think about which page you are hitting f5 on.

Anyone ideas on how best to remove security stickers, hair dryer works but leaves the glue behind.

Stickered at these prices or did you need to scan to get these prices?

Someone had cleared those out at one of the stores I visited.

Picked up milanos at £24, ultimate battle for asgards £24 and Duplo Cars 3 Flo's cafes for £11. 20. All in my most local store. This probably means the other guy in my town has quit Lego buying, my local store used to be always cleared out as soon as there was a hint of offers on HUKD

They have been this price all week.  Just rare to find them
