Can you only use the gift cards received instore, instore?

Going to go in tomorrow to a TRU store, but won't be back in the UK during the period where I can use it.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

In store cards can only be used in stores and similarly online codes can you only be used online. Normally you can only use one card per transaction but in my experience depending on the person on the till you can get away with stacking 2 or at a push 3.

Ah crap. don't suppose anyone wants to swap an instore gift card for an online one? I could post it out on Monday.

Still not enough for me to pull trigger on this poor excuse for a Star Wars set

That's what the cards say but it's not true.

If they are cards with scratchable pin they can be used online and are stackable up to 5. But online codes are online one per transaction.

So you can stack one online code and 5 in store codes for total £120 discount on an order.

I thought the same but have still loaded up on a few, phasma is a cool looking character and i like the storm troopers, I got my lad to build one and I am quite impressed with it, a few nice features like mechanical opening of the front hatch. Nice size aswell.

Some MFs at £60 are all I've bought in the new SW theme. I can't see any other winners unless >60% off. I feel sorry for those who've bought heavily into hardly-discounted EV and SC sets. Just look at the vast amount of sets available and now long it will take for them to become "rare".
