One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

I believe that 39 GBP is the benchmark on that set but @TabbyBoy can confirm it. My PB was 65 euros so 94 is a bit meh.

Well in terms of reduction it's not huge but the lowest I've seen those last weeks - except probably if you count those crazy UK couponing, points and whatever else they have there ;)

They are price matching Amazon who price matched Tesco. No meat on the bone at anything more than 80 euros a shot.

There is now no qfll potential for MF as even if set is in rogue one there will be no shortage supply as there is an abundence of shops selling for £90.

Your looking at at least a one year hold till the set retires even if buying at good price right now, and that is if lego don't release a MF next year for the 40th year anniversary.

Millennium Falcon @ John Lewis for 79 gbp - 94 euro guess that's a pretty good deal, no?

It's cheaper than I've seen them available for here in The Netherlands. Including shipping will be about €104. Lowest NISB offer on Marktplaats is around €120 as far as I can tell. Though Brickwatch does list the Amazon UK price as lowest currently, at €105 excluding shipping.

Still too damn high.

Depends on your buy-in and objectives. Do a tabby and get 999 for 65 euros and you can make 20 clean on each one. They sell no problem if the price is low enough and shops will start to run out of stock soon. If they don´t, it´s another sign of doom.

There is no chance for us "non-GBer" to get a ~60% on sets, because crazy 3-4-2 deals simply don't exist. One can be happy, if we get a 40% discount on a set like this (where discounts stack). Meanwhile, If you don't have family, friends etc. in GB, you can't compare GB prices with rest of Europe-prices (I'm not talking about Amazon.co.uk).

just seen this on tru front page, might be good for post christmas sales.

There's also a few items in TRU Black Friday sale that's started early.  Best seem to be Heartlake performance school at £49.99 and their Exclusive XL Classic Brick Box at £35 down from £60

Seen this on another forum, apparently these are some of the sets that will have 20% off - email from Quidco who have 11% cash back as well

Yes indeed it's the same here in Belgium. But I understand it's still not very low and of course no QF possibilities at this price. Wonder if we will ever see big discounts on that thing over here...

Update update, just discovered it DOES exist in Belgium - 2 +1 @ Carrefour on Lego & Duplo right now in shops - maybe also in other countries?

Right... TRU deals. My brain is already aching

£20 lego voucher when you spend £75 on Lego

Free minifigure pack when you spend £45 on lego

Free Hulk / admiral poly on £15 spend Superheros / Star wars

Quidco offer £10 back when you spend £25 @ TRU

Quidco 3.3% cashback

All these can be used together online.

If you picked up the £15 gift cards over the last month nows a pretty good time to use them.

Might be worth waiting till Black Friday to see what else you can stack.

Personally I'm gonna do one shop online to get the £10 quidco, then go in store, use my £15 gift cards and do price match to get some more bits of friday.

This really could work out amazing if you do it right.

None of the minifigure packs are available online though, so you can't get them with the online £20 vouchers.

You also forgot free Kai polybag with Ninjago purchase and free First Order General with Star Wars purchase.

Have the online gift cards stacked in the past?

My take is: It's a question of the economical situation, including the national economy itself and that of the people and retailers. Since Germany is a rich country in comparison and GB as well as Spain and many other countries have their share of problems, it seems natural to have NO insane discounts in Germany, where the majority of buyers can well afford Lego sets at RRP. That's not the case in southern Europe where there's an unemployment rate of about 40% amongst young people. Which unemployed teen or twen is supposed to buy sets that are 100+ Euros? Sometimes maybe equating one third of their monthly funds...

here TRU has a wonderful offer of about 10 random toys for "amazing" prices. I dont get why they do not make similar offers here in germany..

Not sure but they did in store for me as the clerk said they were gift actual cards and not vouchers.

Best deal for that set so far, excluding shipping (toysrus.nl deal was slightly better). This is a great deal!

EDIT:

So yeah... This is new:

You have a link to that promo? 2+1 is 33%. Carrefour has some Lego, but not a lot and only in the hypermarkets. Maybe we can get Dreamland to price match...
