Pretty sure the Asda one is just one of those 'Upto 50% off' jobbies. I wouldn't get your hopes up about it being 3-4-2, because you'll be disappointed.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

I notice Asda's euro prices are jacked up too. A set listed at £35.97 has a euro price of 44.49, when it should be 39.90 going by the exchange rate. That's a 1.237 exchange rate instead of 1.11.

You pay in sterling, so it doesn't matter, they just haven't bothered updating the exchange rate on that in a while.

The exchange rate should be £1.00 = €1.50 = $1.75 and it's just everybody apart from me using the wrong rate! ;-)

It'll be interesting to see what Asda offers. Let's hope it's good as they're fierce rivals of Tesco.

If they have WALL-E, Doctor Who & Ecto1 at half price of less, be quick as I'm going in H-U-G-E and I'm not kidding!

I need to see whats left on my target list for this year. I've hit my target on all ideas sets so at least i don't have to worry about having to try and out f5 tabby lol.

TBH I exceeded my target weeks ago but, Tesco's sale was just too good to ignore. I've learned a lession and I'l make sure that I have acres of storage lined up for this time next year.

Hopefully you´ll have sold quite a bit too, or no lesson will have been learnt. The buyer´s remorse is really coming on strong this week for me.

girlfriends going to rumble me soon.

That's a bigger problem than Over Production, Lepin, Over Saturation, Death Star remakes and Amazon gating all combined.

WALL-E is out of stock and so is the resistance troop tranport which is a suprise.

I got this flyer through the door today for the Asda "BIG TOY Rollback" it starts tomorrow, no mention of 3 for 2.  Prices might get slashed tomorrow!

Any idea when Asdas price changes kick in on their website?

Around 100 email notifications a week.

About 10% of those (if we're lucky) who are on topic.

All the others are about order status, inventory showoff, retiring speculation, packing excellence, etc etc etc

Don't get me wrong guys, I read all the topics on brickpicker and enjoy doing this but there's a place for every topic.

Things are really getting out of hand here, I'm so overload with emails everyday from this topic that I'll actually miss out on a deal when someone actually posts about it...

That ain't how it's supposed to be isn't?

TRU Netherlands: 75150 (Darth Vaders TIE Advanced vs A-Wing Starfighter) for sale at €60 but only today (still 34 minutes to until midnight) 20% extra discount, bringing it down to €48. That's 56% below (Dutch) RRP !

All in on 42050 Drag Racers it is then.

Well, boring offers on asda, but we have been spoiled the last few weeks.

Yes I just saw this and was going to post it as well. I think they forgot to exclude it from the 20% off like they usually do with "top deals". Awesome deal anyway!

So far, Asda's prices seem normal so I'll check again in the morning. It seems like the sale either hasn't started yet or is a damp aquin.

There's some OK base prices (was eyeing up Vacation Getaway) but the Tesco deal has raised the bar (or is it lowered?) so no interest so far.

Yeah, that seems to be it. Some reasonable stuff so let´s see if Amazon UK wake up and match.

Boots still have some sets at 3-for-2 and 10% off a £75+ spend using code VC75. I've not tested it as I'm done for now but, hope it's useful to some of you. Also code MH43 for 10% off £50+ spend at Debenhams. Sorry, not as good as Tesco!
