October 7, 20169 yr Theres one for Lego Ideas - Only Fools n Horses for us Brits since they did the Big Bang Theory set. Even make up a couple of Lego Figures to look like blow-up dolls for the back of the Reliant

Apparently a 1:1 parity with Euro is predicted to happen sometime in the coming months: https://www.poundsterlinglive.com/gbp-live-today/5550-gbp-to-eur-and-usd-services-pmi-3435 The exchange rate almost reached parity about 7 or 8 years ago. So why not? My wallet doesn't like the tumbling pound though with all those deals on Amazon.
October 7, 20169 yr Amazon Spain had 75102 Poe X Wing at 35 euros a shot, a couple of minutes ago. All gone now...... Edited October 7, 20169 yr by Val-E

I think the Robin would do well as OFAH was one of the best ever UK sitcoms which (I think) also had a good folowing in Europe. Oops... I've been derailing again!
October 7, 20169 yr received two packages. My T1 Van from the Lego shop, including the London Bus (European box version), and second the Porsche from John Lewis. Not really happy with the Porsche. John Lewis did not use extra packaging, so the brown Lego box is now full of shipment stickers and someone, probably the DPD guy, dropped it, right on the corner of the box. So inside, the corner of the Porsche box itself is slightly damaged. Too bad dutchmen cannot buy from Galeria Kaufhaus, nice discounts. edit: did you see this? awsome inside Edited October 7, 20169 yr by LegoNL

The negative feelings around brexit is great news for currency speculators and a buddy of mine has cleared over £20K in profit since the vote. I've done a bit of trading myself but, not confident to go the whole hog so I'm only earning pocket money. I personally think that EUR will really crash big time once another EU country leaves (probably Denmark and what will that do to LEGO prices?) and Greece is bailed out again. The USD will be safe, provided that the Yellowstone Caldera doesn't pop! ;-) I'm hoping that the UK will end up like CH as they've done fine without the EU. Nexit with Wilder's nutters leading the polls.

I'm so glad that I held onto my left over USD from my trip to NC & SC earlier this year! It's all hype and scaremongering right now and I'm not affected..... yet.
October 7, 20169 yr The 35 euro X wings are back on Amazon Spain. It´s a turd party seller so buyer beware, though. I´d say there´s a 0.01% chance of orders being fulfilled.
