Why not? VIP points are worth the same whenever you use them, they don't increase in value nor accrue interest. 

There has also been cases here of people having there lego VIP card cancelled as lego thought they were a reseller because they has a large VIP points balance. 

I personally use mines whenever I can as you never know if you might lose your points or if lego change the value of the point/ t&c's without notice anytime in the future.

When you use them to reduce the price you decrease automatically the total amount of the VIP points you earn during the prurchase. 

Basically, the 3x VIP only makes sense to buy for SW sets that almost did not drop in price like 75096 (Sith Infitrator) and 75086 (Battle Droid Troop Transport), right? On big sets going for ones that might not go on sale elsewhere before they retire (like the Sandcrawler in the above post). Combined with the 10 euro discount some interesting things might be possible though.

Don't forget shoop aka qipu 3% on net price and a 5€ Amazon Voucher.

IMO sandcrawler is the only one that is sorta worth it for NL and BE because that is the only one that we can't really get at a decent discount elsewhere.

TRU Germany had Sith Infiltrator at -20% before. The droid troop transport as well. Droid troop transport is also sold in a lot of local stores so there's a chance you'll find it on clearance. Sandcrawler not so much. Most I've seen for Sandcrawler is -10% (Fnac). It's too bad RRP is 30€ more in BE and NL or it would be a good deal.

Things like this make me wonder if we should not just become a special province of Germany.

The 10 euro discount works on every order, so be sure to split up bigger orders to get it multiple times.

Pretty much so and people have been talking up Force Friday on here for months now. Got to hand it to Disney that the SW franchise is so obnoxious, it feels it needs TWO separate days to celebrate its existence every year.

With the £10 codes stacked with triple points and stormie it makes the Rogue One sets a day one purchase.  I did plan on waiting for discounts in supermarkets but don't need to with these offers. 

I tried to order some items after midnight, but the web SAH had horrible bugs... for example - Sandcrawler should get 900 vip points, but showed just 869 points, jango fet figure for EUR 19 showed correct 59 vip points, but if I add it to another set, it added just 30 vip points. I guess that many people didnt noticed these bugs.

The SaH is EXTREMLY badly made web page... Very often has such mistakes and bugs. Plus new design is AWFUL - hard to find the sets, horrible structure of page, cannot roll the sets for example from low to high price, cannot search through all cathegories and for example find all sets under EUR 5, etc. I cannot understand, how such big company can have much worse web page than small local sellers in my small country...

Strange. The VIP points are calculated after the 10€ discount though, so it's probably correct: 299.99€-10€=289.99€. Normally you'd get 289.99 vip points. Times 3 is 869.

I agree, the website to a huge step backwards when they changed it. I constantly find myself going in circles. And lost! When you sort items to price high - low it shows you the first 5 sets they want you to buy, in no particular order, THEN sorts them. A couple of times I've gone on to browse and then just given up.

Just got a HDUK alert.  Porsche for 199.99 at Tesco in case anyone's after one.

As you have used 10 Euro discount you have got 30 points less than 899...

It looks like the Rogue One AT-ST was the set of choice this morning (now on back order), combined with a micro fighter (majority now back order) to achieve the free delivery, £10 off and Stormtrooper at SAH.

Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter is now out of stock. Looks like this one is not coming back.
