That musn't have lasted long. Back to RRP.

You sure that wasn't a third party seller who is charging another 16 quid shipping?

I managed to get an extra £3 off via Flubbit so happy to pay £103.26 for 3. Now to see if they actually get delivered.

Then, do I keep them or just go for the quick flip?

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

I managed to pick up an Indominus Rex for £69.99 @ Argos without going too far from home.

Also in Sainsburys, General Grievous marked for clearance @ 19.99 but scanned through @ £15.00. I should of gone back for more but budget is super tight now.

The deal on the Lincoln Memorial is good although I kind of think that there are better investments in the architecture line than this one, like the UN HQ or Villa Savoye.

yeah for sure but UN HQ and Villa Savoye are gone here in europe

and the big question is why mytoys listed this set as a puzzle and not the other architecture sets :)

I'm also puzzled by that.

I ordered from mytoys.de for the first time last week:

Ihre Lieferung:

All in all, a good deal I thought, with my final costs coming out as:

31035: £ 14.04

42042: £ 75.87

42043 - £ 119.44

So I'm happy with the prices, but the packing was truly dreadful. 31035 was jammed next to the Arocs set to hold it in place, resulting in a crushed box for the former and slightly damaged box for the latter, and the Crawler just sat on top running around the whole thing.

No packing material in sight at all.

I imagine that's because they were just going to source it from Amazon and then Amazon ran out - had plenty of Amazon packages from Flubit before.

Please let us know when it turns up.

I've just ordered some 21022's (I had a voucher on top of the standard discount also) plus one other non-lego puzzle so hopefully because it's a smaller package it will be better packed.

I bought for parting out, so I'm not to bothered about the state of the boxes.

I ordered 4 Lincoln Memorials with mytoys.de yesterday. I see that my creditcard has been charged, but I haven't received a confirmation mail. When I check my order history on the site I see the charge to my creditcard with an ordernumber zero and no specification of the order. Has anyone else had the same problem? Is ordering 4 a red flag with Mytoys.de?

Ok guys, nevermind, 2 minutes after this post I've received the confirmation. Guess I'm just a little paranoid when it comes to my Lego.

Dr Who looks too early a buy for me, even at that price. As a flip you'd probably only see a few £ net of costs, and I'd expect this price to be repeated sometime later

Cheers great spot. Been after one of these for my daughter for her birthday ( few months away yet) went to my local tesco on the day they slashed prices on them to £25 but got pipped by a grown man who had 3 "girls children's" grand hotels in his trolly ! ! Anyway still happy in the end. Using my little remaining club card money off vouches it cost me £44 to collect on monday. So with this and a dolphin cruiser I picked up from Amazon for £23 just before Christmas im gonna have a very happy little girl come her birthday

41101 Friends Heartlake Hotel: discount from 100 GBP to 52.50 GBP (47% off). See here

Free delivery in UK, shipping within Europe (at least, the Netherlands) 5.50 GBP.

... while you're ordering at Amazon UK, you can get a 76028 Darkseid Invasion from 60 GBP discounted to 40 GBP (33% off). See here

And ensure you wipe out any future profit margin the Grand Hotel might bring!

Shipping to the Netherlands is more expensive than shipping to Germany (GBP 5.07). Obviously the Dutch "LEGO tax" applies to shipping, too. :derisive:

In my local WH Smith today, they have a BOGOHP on Lego - but not a great range (could be store specific)

There was a Darth Vader character build, but not enough of anything else to tempt me.

they even had an Atlantis set (8060). God knows how long that was in the stockroom for

I can't see it being on offer any cheaper in the future. Being easy to store I'd rather grab the discount now and move on to other sets.

Not bad, consider it made a trip across Europe without any kind of 'cushion' material inside - all small boxes running freely inside the big box. Maybe should've bought some baby blankets to go with it.

Besides that every box and CMF had a sticker in it - fortunately they seem easy to take out and without leaving damage to the box surface.

You see that? Thats a thumbs up from that trooper about the quality of the sticker - a quality of not sticking more than it is need to.

Hey guys, I wasn't very active lately, but I noticed 70226 Mammoth Frozen Fortress is on 50% sale on LEGO Shop at Home across Europe, don't know if it's a recent deal or available for a while. Limit 2 per customer + you get two Nexo Knights promo sets (one with a 8x16 plate [emoji6]) for every purchase above 30€.

Just thought I'd report on it.

There's a few 3 for 2's on Littlewoods.ie in Ireland and on Very.co.uk in the UK, nothing too amazing, but the Minecraft Nether Fortress comes out at €60 ea or £46.67 each.
