Well when the average number of deals posted by Amazon in this is around 9, to me it is an opportunity for people to buy even to just build.  We saw it go from 240+ the other day to 9 to1, so seeing this again thought there may be a little excitement.

They are just price matching some of the TRU canada deals for today. It'll go back to normal tomorrow. Those sales are a joke. That batman demolition set will crash and burn on boxing day. Maybe $39.98 and second one half price. I went to the richmond, B.C. TRU today and they had over 30 sets on the shelf and not moving. Clayface set should be called dust face for collecting dust.

Tail Gator was 40% off as well at my local tru. I just can't justify buying those sets. The only set of interest was the Lighthouse point at 40%... but otherwise, meh

I understand what you are saying.  I just have fun watching this Canada thread. I would be super frustrated with the way deals come out.

Yup, I don't even bother. I just load up everything from TRU USA ebay , amazon.com, and target and have them all shipped to my PO at Blaine.

The best deals were on Thursday night at 9pm when they had AoH for under 180CAD and Snowspeeder.

How is this 30% off, that's a joke. Feel sorry for those who fall for the 30% off when price is jacked up. Heck, they should change retail to $300 and slap 50% on it.

Not quite $180 but close.  Weird stuff happening on their site.  I ordered the tie and it dropped further right after.  Customer service won't price match.

Lots of sets seem to be slowly decreasing in price, like every few hours they go down by 50 cents or so, been watching Hoth for a few days now, seems to have stalled at $203. Tie Fighter, Carbon Freezing Chamber, Duel on Naboo all following this steady decrease. 

I purchased the Carbon Chamber and the Bounty Hunter battle pack, this is a really great deal.

Tie is over 30% off with the Prime discount. U Wing is 50% off with Prime. So many wallet draining opportunities. Passing on all of them. Already have them in my collection.

not sure I understand the savings. Creator 31079 on lego site is at $39.99CAD. On amazon it is at $38.64CAD with 33%off.

Math is not adding up for me. Can someone clarify.

Amazon can be very misleading as they often raise they're original price to make it look like you're saving a lot. The Shield Helicarrier for example was marked up too $461 as the original price on amazon, but would mark it back down to $400 (the actual price) so it would appear as though it was on sale, and the same is happening here. The Yellow Submarine was temporary jacked up too like $200 shortly before christmas, then marked back down to appear as though it was like 70% off! Lol

Always double check the Lego website before relying on Amazon's prices... they're often the best prices, but they're also often the most misleading!

They had the UCS Sandcrawler at $45, i highly doubt they would ship at that price.
