Not sure about gift option, but I always buy in multiples and have not had any issues.

I am not sure if people gonna see this but Costco.ca has 42054 42055 on sale. 42055 is especially good with a sale price of $200 CAD, which is equivalent to a 40% off!

No offence but BOGO 40 is not that good...It is only like 20% off if you buy two item of equal value, which is your best scenario. Of course if you are interested in some sets that are never on sale (i dont know if there is any) then ignore my words.

This is the funniest shipping experience I have had in the last 3 years ...

I received 3 of 4 of my kylo ren lightsabers with labels straight on the box, with some of the corners crushed obviously because of no shipping box and then ...

I see the ups guy balancing this huge box on his back with what looked like a refrigerator ... while I'm wondering, What the hell did I order??

all this for 1 kylo ren lightsaber!!

I'm not complaining, just wishing they would have stuffed the other 3 in this f'ing huge refrigerator box!

note ... they had to tape together 2 boxes to get this to work ... lol

Directly from Amazon  ... I didn't mention as gift. Next time I will try that

The sabres are 3 per case. So if anyone ordered 3 per orde there is no reason why Amazon can't just ship it in factory cases. I really dont give a sh1t about their logo box or worse just a damn label on a collectors item that arrives all beaten up. 

I ordered 3 and they ship them all separately. I am prepared to return then all if its slapped with a label on the actual product

I ordered 4, and they shipped them all separately ... Usually I am pretty happy with the way they package.

Will be returning 1 for sure, maybe 3.

 

Strange as it may look... I applaud the shipper for at least trying to protect it. It is a particularly odd shaped box, and if they didn't have the original shipping box on hand, they probably don't have anything in those dimensions. I'd rather have someone put in the time to frankenstein a haphazard box together like that, than just label and ship naked like the other 3. Clearly 1 employee cared more about your purchase than the other.

Selecting as gift option does not guarantee it being in a box. You need to select the "Gift Wrap" option for an extra $5

Got my 3 Imperial Shuttles today... one was NOT in good condition.  Called them and they refunded me the value and said I could keep it.

Their customer services is always so damn good!

So I returned 3 of them after speaking with a lady at amazon customer service. She said that it was horrible that they shipped them out like that and that I would receive 3 others properly packaged the next day.

The next day, I received 3 more with stickers slapped on the original boxes shipped loose!!

Called Amazon, and this time another person told me that they have no contact with shipping department, so I was fed bullshit on first call.

Can't believe this crap!

Seeing as it's a black series collectible, I'm not sure it's worth it. People will expect nice boxes, I won't chance it selling them on amazon.

I'm gonna try selling them locally, this way the client sees the box before paying.

 

Extra Lesson learned ... 

Don't send in bulky items to sell as FBA, unless you prepare/prepackage them yourself!

They sent me 4 sabers, 3 of them in boxes separately, the 4th one with stickers slapped on it, I'm keeping one for myself so I can put the silicon mods on and make it look exactly like the one in the movies.

Sears.ca has around 20% off all its sets...all 2016 sets.

ToysRus.ca has Dr Who and the Big Bang Theory for 40% off.

They are limited to certain stores etc.

Yes, i just saw it on my phone as I was coming home.  I have to say I am a bit shocked to see it not to mention the whole new list of items.  The deal list was empty this morning. I love Amazon, they at least keep it interesting.
