October 31, 20169 yr Just watched this interesting and informative video about some of the current and recent Lego licenses and how they had been used by other construction brands in the past. Of special interes, Doctor Who, Yellow Submarine and Scooby Doo.
October 31, 20169 yr I think the word 'stole' is a bit strong and could get content owner in trouble. I'm pretty sure they paid a fortune in licensing fees.

Regarding his title, yes might be abit clickbait, but seeing some other video titles on youtube its ok. It could have been "Lego EXPOSED - Manipulating others - prank gone wrong in hood gone sexual etc etc"

October 31, 20169 yr Someone want to give me the tl;dr version? Anything beyond Scooby, Doctor Who, and Beatles?
October 31, 20169 yr "Saying stole is just too easier"...? Just2Good lost some street cred with this video. He repeatedly stats that TLG "stole the license". As we all know a toy manufacturer must "purchase" license rights to manufacture a toy line based on that license/franchise. LEGO simply won the license. I actually do not see any issue with multiple toy manufacturers with the same license. Perhaps there's an "exclusive license" for toy manufacturers as well. Either way. I've seen better from Just2Good.

Marvel, Spiderman, Doctor Who, TMNT, POTC, Simpsons, Angry Birds, Scooby Doo, Beatles, Sonic. He just says when the other branded sets were released, brief overview of their quality, comparison of quality/set variety, and the current status of the license (if applicable).

His was not any worse than other videos out there. This was easily why I only subscribed to Jangbricks, no clickbait titles or annoying grunts

Back to the bubble thread we go!

November 1, 20169 yr Author If you don´t like clickbait then hand in your Lego VIP card and cancel SAH membership! Retiring soon is the worst clickbait there is plus it costs you money.
November 2, 20169 yr I believe Just2Good could have easily said "acquired" or, well, anything else really. I won't hold it against him though. Honestly I have seen and/or heard worse. I'm just like "Dude, come on. 'Stole', really?".
