60107 Fire Ladder Truck - released Jan 2016 - 214 pcs, 2 minifigs, including a female firefighter.  RRP US$24.99. Now (Sep 2016) discounted to $13.43 on Amazon.com (46% off).

So is this the next fire truck to retire in 1 year, and triple in value the next? (ref 60061 Airport Firetruck).  I'm lookin' at you exciter1 ;) ... stocking up?... or ignoring this run-of-the-mill little fire truck?

The last little fire truck, 60002, is already at $34.99 FBA.  I picked some up for around $15.  Doing the same for 60107.

I'm getting some cheap ones.  The only thing that makes me not crazy about it is 60002 was out for almost 3 years.  It was also discounted throughout it's lifecycle.

If you got 60002 around $15 and were to sell them now at $35 FBA, that's maybe $8-9 in profit.  50-60% return on the money, I'll take it.  They sell pretty quick too.

Making $8-$9 each if you buy 50x after sitting on them for 3 years may not feel as great.

Yeah timing matters.  I was under the impression that Lego rolls out new Fire Trucks pretty often, like almost annually.  Guess I have to rethink that.

60112 seems a better ride to me...crossing full speed through the City streets.....wiewiewiewiew..........nice! :dancer:

60112 looks like a great set and at $50 I believe will cap the other fire trucks in the high $30's range.  I will definitely be picking up some 60112 on discount.
