What is the value of design by me sets ?

LEGO discontinued its design by me sets you could design with LDD, upload the set plans and order that set in a custom box. SO my question is, do these sets have any value ?

    Ok. But I would image 6 to 7 years down the road a new in the box set would be worth more then you paid for seeing as how it is discontinued ?

    The set of course has somewhat of a sentimental value, but since it is a discontinued line it should increase in value from what you payed for it to the serious collector.
