This is the first rumor i've seen related to the January 1st winter wave of 2017.

Sounds like a Yoda's Hut, the UCS Snowspeeder, and a new round of microfighters series 4, and a few Rogue One battlepacks are on the way..

It sounds like the following could happen. 

• 75144 UCS Snowspeeder
• Yoda's Hutt
• 75160 (rebel pilot), 75161 (tie pilot), 75162 (rebel pilot), 75163 (Imperial Officer) 
• 75164 Rogue One Rebel Battle Pack
• 75165 Rogue One Imperial Battle Pack
• 75166 Set with R2D2, and Yoda
• 75169 (possible landspeeder or could be Tusken Raider Attack themed set) has Luke, Obi-Wan, 3PO, and Tusken Raider
• 75170 (rebels set with Chopper, Kanan, Thrawn)
• 75171 Rogue One set with 3 minis (AT-AT's might be safe for a while!)
• 75272 Rebels set
• 75173 (sounds like a jedi final duel type set) with Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Maul
• 75174 Desert Skiff with Han, Chewie, Fett, Weequay
• 75179 Set with Lando, Rebel Pilot, Crewman

BB8, Star destroyer and Heavyweight assault walking all wanted. If we see the UCS MF as well I'll have to not eat for a month.

I have put Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter, BB-8 and the Resistance Bomber all on my want list.

I'm going to hold judgement until I see it move.  If it has really cool movement that has a lot of technic design to it, it might be a pretty amazing little set.  I heard it moves like this (at 3:45 into the clip below): 

 

Yeah... I was getting a crab/spider/creepy-crawly vibe out of those legs. 

I know that I am more than a bit jaded - but I just think much of it looks like crap.

A lot of the smaller Empire/First order sets have looked like crap in the new waves, the First Order Snowspeeder, the Imperial Assault Hovertank, now this. None of them are a patch on the At-St.

I think Kylo Ren's Tie Fighter is alright.  I'm still hoping that classic Tie Bomber is right around the corner.

Yes - but to me, it just looks as if a Tie Fighter and a Rogue Shadow had a baby.

The transport pod looks like just the end of the Resistance Troop Transporter from TFA sets.

Since none of these sets have Leia in them, I am holding out hope for a huge increase in demand (around Christmas) for 75140s. Perhaps this smelliest of turds will do well after all.

there is another wave coming 4 months after, dunno if you spotted already lack of Luke Skywalker in any of those releases, the lead character of the movie tbh.

Just BB-8 for me and probably Kylo Ren's Tie Fighter whenever that's 30% off.

I think the only Minifigs I'm itching to have are Resistance Rey and Luke - hopefully they will come bundled together in wave 2 in an affordable set.

I'm just a Dark Side fan by nature and I plan to get Kylo's Fighter, the FO AT-AT and FO Star Destroyer.  The Bomber looks like a clunker to me, along with the FO AT-ST.  I will most likely pick up a BB8 too.  

Snope's bathrobe is great for my Playboy mansion MOC ... I've already got Heff and the Bunnies from the TLBM minifigs ....

I wonder if the Bomber will be able to stay stable on such a small footprint and bulky, extended top section.

On Earth, yes.  The bombers just need to drop bombs from distance and let gravity / guidance system takes care of it ONE WAY.  On SW universe, however, bombs need to be dropped up close to any surface of the target, ie. they should be able to bomb the belly of a Star Destroyer from "under" it.  Thus SW bombers should be slim and able to manuever without its energy source drained by multiple turrets...
