This is the first rumor i've seen related to the January 1st winter wave of 2017.

Sounds like a Yoda's Hut, the UCS Snowspeeder, and a new round of microfighters series 4, and a few Rogue One battlepacks are on the way..

It sounds like the following could happen. 

• 75144 UCS Snowspeeder
• Yoda's Hutt
• 75160 (rebel pilot), 75161 (tie pilot), 75162 (rebel pilot), 75163 (Imperial Officer) 
• 75164 Rogue One Rebel Battle Pack
• 75165 Rogue One Imperial Battle Pack
• 75166 Set with R2D2, and Yoda
• 75169 (possible landspeeder or could be Tusken Raider Attack themed set) has Luke, Obi-Wan, 3PO, and Tusken Raider
• 75170 (rebels set with Chopper, Kanan, Thrawn)
• 75171 Rogue One set with 3 minis (AT-AT's might be safe for a while!)
• 75272 Rebels set
• 75173 (sounds like a jedi final duel type set) with Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Maul
• 75174 Desert Skiff with Han, Chewie, Fett, Weequay
• 75179 Set with Lando, Rebel Pilot, Crewman

Oh man, if this is true, I can stop looking for the other shuttle.  Thank you remakes   I know bad news for most of you but you know what, I had a rough day and this brightened it a little bit.

Every year we have the same story of a fantasy list. Still, I would not be holding on to ISD much longer - in fact I sold all mine for a decent return.

April 1st has come early this year. A brickbuilt model of my ass has the same chance as being in the 2017 advent as Santa Tarkin. Crix Madine is not as popular as Han Solo and won't make it into 2 sets.

Exactly. Lego has released around 30 SW sets every year for the past 2 years and we already have around 20 confirmed sets with numbers for 2017. Expect between  6 and 10 more sets for September release and a couple of large exclusives but that´s it.

I believe in this list, because everyone needs a Gungan battle pack to add to their collection, don't they, don't they

Probably be more than 6-10 because of the new movie though.

I guess EP8 releases will be divided between September 2017 and Jan/March 18, as in the past 2 years.

There were 15 sets released last Autumn before the new movie.

I can only count 7, 75153-75159 plus 3 maxi figs. What did I miss?

Sorry, head's still in 2016, when I said last year I meant 2015 for The Force Awakens.

 

Yeah, 2016 was a year to forget for me too. Still, for TFA I only recall sets 75099-75106 plus all the maxi figs, which don´t count, so 7 again.

 

What is this rumor about a new IST ? Got a few of those and it's a definit winner, if their is no reissue this year.

I doubt we are getting a refreshed IST so soon.  If anything, I think a Clone Wars / ROTS IST version would be released before another ROTJ one.  

I do wonder if another version will appear in ep 8 TLJ.  

Well, a modified / corrected version of Ren's is a given I think.

The Last Jedi, according to some sites, as well as the numbers on brickset (and they are usually accurate) shows that there are 6 sets for the film's force friday release, and 3 battle figures.  So, it will be one less than TFA, and one more than Rogue One.

Yup. I will munch on some speculative crow.  One ROTJ IST after another is a-lot  

We already have cheaper ways to get ROTJ Vader and Palpatine (the upcoming Vader's Transformation).
