This might be bubble talk but to all the people buying 100+ dimensions , make sure you are not left holding the hot potato. Merchandise in the video game industry are not produced like other lego items i.e. hundreds of thousands, they are produced in millions upon millions. If there showing up at 1 dollar stores, make money fast and don't get greedy, as there will be a crap load more inventory on the way. 

I'm going to disregard your advice, but I see what you're saying. Worse comes to worse, I finally build that Mech built entirely of Homer Simpson heads I've been dreaming of.

Over on Eurobricks just2good (of YouTube channel fame) is staunchly claiming that Dimensions is done, and that most Year 3 content won't see the light of day. Non-believers are getting tarred & feathered by the crowd (I exaggerate of course).

I find that very hard to believe. I was at Best Buy yesterday and the entire LD department was empty (literally nothing) I asked my friend (I use to be the manager at that Best Buy) and he said yeah all throughout November to present we get them in and gone couple days later. With Disney dropping out of the race SW/Marvel/etc will be on Dimensions. That's a no brainer. More likely not till 2018.

I'm not convinced yet. Bricks to Life isn't reporting anything - and they are usually all over everything Dimensions. Last time they were on the Dimensions podcast a couple weeks ago, there wasn't any mention.

Also, Harry Potter Celebration is on this weekend at Universal Florida and Dimensions is there promoting the Hermione and HP packs.

Just going by my own evidence right now. Could be wrong. But I think the whole 99 Cent Store thing is fueling negative thoughts.

Noooooo... we still have Beetlejuice and Sloth coming out this year...  IF this is truly going away, there's definitely some packs I think will be gold down the line.  Unlike, Disney Infinity which are completely worthless, some of these minifigures should grow in value, since they are exclusive only to dimensions.

I don't understand how there's even a question if these $1 packs are worth getting. If someone offered me Scooby, Homer, etc minifigs in any quantity I wanted for $1 each, I'd buy a few thousand.

That's why they need to keep making it! People may not even own a console but they will buy the pack just for the mini fig. So many ways of making money from this game I would be shocked to not see this keep going. How long? Idk but I'd be shocked if it ends before 2020.

Wrote them while watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with the fam. Can't trust anything I say as I'm under the influence ....

My question is why aren't there a ton of Dimensions packs showing up on Brick Classifieds?
