"It seems as though Warner Bros and LEGO could well be bringing out their own toys-to-life title to compete against Disney Infinity, Skylanders, and amiibo. The game is rumoured to be in development at Travellers Tales and is due for release sometime later this year. LEGO is an extremely lucrative brand so this should provide some real competition to what

Hopefully that doesn't lead to a john Travolta, Kirstie Alley, and David Miscavige team pack.

I was hoping for a pack with Oprah and a couch.

If Dimensions is throwing back to the 80's, I think Phil Donahue and Sally Jesse Raphael fun packs would be sweet too...

Next to Slimer, you'll see Raven!

Who is the guy between Harry Potter and  Gizmo?

That's the bad guy in the game, Lord Vortec I think.

HOLY COW.  ET !  and gizmo, mr.t, ET, ethan hawk, Goonies (sloth), Beetlejuice, The Hoff, etc...

Besides the pics, another HP is coming, couple more adventure times, ghostbusters reboot and sonic, I know it's not necessarily new news but don't think those pics were posted here yet.

I'm just gonna say that I *love* Mr. T's hair.

It is sweet, I think the first piece I zoomed in on lol, his torso is cool too with all the gold.....oh, I really like trabant (car) from HP set...

There is a very small picture of Raven from Teen Titans Go on the dimensions Twitter page among the other already announced characters. Also looks like one-eyed willie's pirate ship from goodies and spike from gremlins.

That's the same pic I posted a few posts earlier. :)

Has anyone seen pictures of these sets yet?

The only photos that have been distributed are those posted above (and above and above) in this thread. Wave 6 (the first wave of Series 2) is all that has been shown for the moment. Hopefully the rest will be revealed when E3 starts on the 14th.

I wouldn't label all of them as 80's. There certainly a 90's presence. A-team, ET and Goonies are pure 80's, but B2tF spilled in to the 90's and I was say Sonic was more 90's than 80's.

Gremlins sequel was 90's.

Can we get some X-files, and maybe a Baywatch?

That's what I think whenever I pull up to the parking kiosk at the FL Legoland.

Hey. BttF 3 premieres on June 15, 1990. Gremlins 2 was also 1990. I'm calling you out on "spilling into the 90s".

Lol

(BttF 3 came out two days after I graduated high school)

Let's not forget about everyone's favorite cat eating alien ALF.

Two things -

1. I don't think you understand how badly I'd buy these

2. I love that Orco is only a torso!

Land before time would be good. Has Lego made a brontosaurus yet?

I would not be surprised to see Cpt. Planet. Or an Oompa Loompa.

Does a 1990 release not count as spilling into the '90s?

I'm sure the promoting of the movies went well into '91.

Orko would look better with a red Minnie Mouse's skirt piece tacked on the bottom

Technically the 80s would be 1981-1990. Unfortunately people who don't respect proper year groupings took over and made 2000 the new millennium when it was in fact the last year of the old millennium.

Remember, there was no year zero.
