I've been selling various items on eBay over the last two years. Just some stuff here and there. I have a feedback score of 9 with 100% positive feedback. I'm currently selling custom WW2 minifigures. I feel like I could sell more faster if I had a higher score because some buyers don't buy from people with lower scores. How do I increase a buyers' confidence in purchasing from me? Thanks.

There's not a whole lot you can do. It takes time to build up your feedback. I have almost 1200 now, and half the time buyers don't leave feedback at all. Do all you can to inspire confidence, free shipping, allow returns, etc.

this is correct.......just have to sell sell sell, its gonna be tough at first.

Yes, excellent idea. Feedback for sellers and buyers gets mixed up into one main number. You can breakdown each and separate them, but most people on eBay just look at the main number. Buy some minifigures or cheap sets to bump yours up.

Sometimes people don't leave you feedback until you leave it first, regardless of whether you are the buyer or seller. Some places have automatically generated feedback that is posted for you in return right after you leave some first. I guess my point is, if you are happy with your end of the transaction, post feedback asap. It gets people on the other end moving. :)

The thing that really irritates me when selling, is when i send an item out, i message the buyer to leave positive feedback if everything goes ok and they are satisfied. Usually about half of them leave feedback. If i hear nothing from them i assume everything is good to go and leave feedback for them expecting a return from them. It should be common courtesy, but most people don't seem to care about feedback.

I wouldn't allow returns on lego sets... I've heard too many return scam stories to realize how easy it is for one to return scam.

Replying with feedback on eBay is my way to keep track if I actually received an item. I might buy 5 or 6 things in a short time frame and forget what I am actually supposed to get. Sounds silly, but I find it a simple way to keep track of my account.

Same here. So many items overlap in shipping if you buy multiple things in a short period of time that it does get difficult. I think the feedback thing works great for keeping track of what you have received.
