July 1, 20169 yr Just got the orange and purple two face in a trade and I noticed his face has some markings. Looks like some of his purple face paint bled over to his right side? Anybody know if there were some quality issues with the fig? I am pretty sure the figure is authentic. Would this be considered a misprint?
July 1, 20169 yr looks like marker to me. considering the paint chips, I'd think it had been rubbed against something that bled. The purple is not the same color from one side to the other.
July 1, 20169 yr I don't know if it would be all that harmful. I used a magic eraser on some figures before. That is potentially destructive to the paint and finish.

July 1, 20169 yr I wash used Lego all the time. Soap won't wash printing off pieces. Feel confident in using more than a drop at a time Can't speak for isopro, though, I don't find it lifts stains or residues very well, usually just dilutes them, spreads them around, then dries before you can do anything about it. I'd definitely try the warm soapy water angle.
July 1, 20169 yr I've used Goo Gone on some harder blemishes and it hasn't removed the original printing. Don't use an abrasive cloth and work the stain a few times. See if it starts coming off. Unfortunately, it looks like the left side printing is already scratched quite a bit.

July 2, 20169 yr Po-leesh remover of ny-eel, plus the fleece tipped scepter of Q-tip should do the trick.
