Personal circumstances require the sale of my entire Lego Investment collection.*  

Edit: collection is in Albuquerque, NM.  I'll drive up to 500 miles to assist with delivery if needed. 

All kits are new/sealed.  I am offering this as a complete collection at a substantial discount.  This is a mix of current and recently retired kits.  I will NOT break this up or sell portions of this colleciton, I've priced this as a great deal for someone.  I will work with the seller to arrange shipping or pickup.  

Current Brickfolio value on this collection is greater than $20,000.  My acquisition cost is $17,000.

In order to facilitate a quick sale and generate much needed income, I'm offering this entire collection for $12,500 (net to me). That leaves you over 40% if you choose to sell these kits starting now, or you can wait for further price escalation.

*I was diagnosed with tounge cancer in April, and had much of my tongue removed in a May operation.  I continue treatment and therapy, and have been out of work for nearly 2 months.  I am liquidating assets to pay medical bills, and my Lego collection has to go.

Yes, collection is in Albuquerque, NM.  I'll drive up to 500 miles on my end for delivery if needed.  My treatment has been great so far.  Losing much of your tongue totally sucks, but it beats the alternative.  Thanks everyone for the good wishes, I'll make it through this.

Your offer to drive to meet is really generous. As the resident map guy, for anyone interested, here's an idea what is about 500 miles from Albuquerque:

Phoenix, AZ (perfect for SoCal)

Odessa and El Paso, TX

Clinton, OK

Fort Collins, CO

Price, UT

Little Rock, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles are all no more than 500 miles from the 500 mile point. Pretty much everything West of the Mississippi except the Pacific Northwest could easily make this happen.

Once again, thanks to all.  I really didn't want my health to be such a big deal; we all deal with stuff like this eventually, at least if you're living right.  Here I am.  6" incision on my neck from the radical neck dissection I had 7 weeks ago.  All the lymph nodes in the left side of my neck were removed, along with about 35% of my tongue.

 

That's the "devil"? ok I no longer fear sinning.  hope someone bites on your collection.

Apparently the healthcare industry did not read the articles about Lego being the greatest investment opportunity ever or they would gladly accept your sets as payment!

I've had many inquiries, thanks to everyone!  The collection has been sold, and I'm working with the buyer to arrange delivery.  Thanks again to everyone, that was really quick.  I actually had several offers in excess of my $12,500 asking price.  I didn't accept them as 1) I had been working a deal with a buyer prior to this, and 2) I felt $12,500 was the fair price which leaves enough room for the buyer to make some profit on this collection.  After all, that's one of the reasons we're all here.

Thanks again, now I have to start packing things up.

My wife is from your town, and I love going to ABQ.  Best food in the country, IMO.  I always gain 5 lbs when I go visit her family.

Anyway, glad to see it was sold. I was about to offer taking a few sets off your hands, but glad you were able to sell it.
