I went to target this week and got the 76001 Bat vs. Bane Tumbler set... awesome set!!!! the dark knight is way cooler than all the other ones! Bane and commissioner Gordon are kickbutt!!! The Tumbler is very detailed and the Bat looks something like in the movie but they could of done better. Overall a great set!!

I love this set, but I also wish we had got a better tumbler. The tumbler from the old Batman sets blows this new one away. The Bat is sweet though!

Yes, it should be leaving soon. I got my fill on Cyber Monday, or whenever they hit $24.

I would strongly assume this set will retire by the end of the year. I hope it does well.

I feel it is on its way out too.  Got about 15 from the summer Wal-Mart clearances at $29.  That was the best I saw on the set over the past few months.  Those and the Batcaves were the first clearances to go.

I got 4 at $20 at Walmart clearance. That was pretty sweet. I would think this is gone soon. The movie is ancient history now with no more coming in that series.

Got me excited for a bit there about the $70 price point. Just checked and I'm showing $50 or so still which still isn't terrible at this point...was the $70 a typo or an alternate listing? Either way, I do think it's done.

not sure what to think about this set.  nice minifigs but very small camo tumbler (they should have at least made it the same size as 7888) and the Bat looks so-so.  however, maybe it will surprise us.

 

the common problem with batman (and other superhero sets nowadays) are there are just so many diff sets and refreshes galore.  just when you think a winner was found, boom. it's refreshed or the minifig is now available in another set.

Three exclusive minifigs that will likely never be revisited since the Nolan Batman films are done.  I think they will carry the set regardless of the inferior vehicles.  

I think The Bat is an awesome vehicle, but I'm sure I'm in the minority.  The minifigs and rarity will carry this set.

My bad. I scanned a UPC from a set in my inventory with the amazon app and it looks that went to a secondary listing. So false alarm on the $70 price point.

Sneaky it became very scarce here in Europe and price is up in the air.

I have one left sealed and another in my son's collection, but the box is a little beat up.  I think it was an Amazon return from last year.

Bought 76001 with Jokerland for 80E. Used bit all complete and manuals/ boxes in good condition. I bought it for jokerland but getting quite happy with 76001 as well!

Interesting....i have 3 mint .....and can't move them at all......
