Eurobricks forum member Just2Good has revealed that there will be a surprise addition to the summer LEGO Star Wars line up in the form of a Rebel Combat Frigate (set 75158). Supposedly it is based on the animated Rebels series and will include an Ahsoka Tano minifig.

Ordered this one today for double VIP and bus as I needed some motivation to consider it. Will see how it feels when I get it. Debating whether to open or hold on to see if I really want to keep it. 

Interesting tagged as Retiring Soon on shop at home in the US. If it goes soon, that's a pretty short shelf life.

I had a feeling this would retire quickly along with Captain Rex's AT-TE 

I already picked one up to get the minifigs and sell off the ship.  Adult Ahsoka goes for a pretty penny by herself.  Might be an interesting investment if TRU starts putting these on sale again soon.  

TLG is telling us they won´t be stocking it much longer but that doesn´t stop them passing thousands of them on to TRU and having it fester there for years - wouldn´t be the first time.

Hence saying "if it goes soon". This has happened with other themes, but not with Star Wars that I can recall with a set only lasting potentially 6 months.

Sorry, to clarify, I was referring specifically to the TRU exclusive tag in the US, not just that time frame in general. I can think of others that lingered at TRU (75025, Palpatine's Arrest), but they had a longer release life. Again, assuming this one actually sells out/retires soon.

Just buy one, use a coupon, points or something.  Don't miss out and reap the rewards later.

Dang TRU and their deep inventory!  I still can't believe they have the 4x4 Off Roader available.  I bought quite a few of that set and thought it was a big winner, but they have ruined that for now.

Yesterday I received a copy of 75158 with seal code 29S6. Must have been a very slow seller then.

What current Star Wars set isn't a turd these days? The UCS MF being the only exception, but it ain't worth anywhere near £649.99.

If i see any of these for half price I'll pick some up - that Ahsoka is $25 alone on BL. Easy figure sales, big turdy parts pack otherwise

Looks like lowest price for the Ahsoka in the US is currently about $30. Another $9 for Sato and $6 for Kallus. I got myself one of these for $59 because I wanted Ahsoka and Kallus.
