May 13, 20169 yr No early release. Could they have chosen a worse surface to open the box on in the video? Maybe a bed of nails or an industrial grinder?

I read some where that June 1st is actually an early release in the US. It will be available at LEGO Shop at Home only, and a limited number of stores in Germany. Then should hit most LEGO stores in July. Edited May 13, 20169 yr by jay4e
May 13, 20169 yr I love the packaging and presentation. It would be awesome if they did this for some other top sets.

And the Ideas Caterham! How could I forget that? This is going to be a good year for petrolheads who love LEGO. Hopefully this GT3RS is going to be the beginning of a series of "UCS Technic Supercars".

May 14, 20169 yr I think lego took a page from apples book on how to properly package a product. well done.
May 29, 20169 yr I would have liked and expected much less human involvement As a private company, LEGO probably is a big employer there and don't have any shareholder's pressure to replace humans with robots/automation.
