I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my first packages that I purchased from amazon.co.uk. Out of 4 sets in 2 different boxes only 1 had a minor dent. In any case I was happy (and relieved) to find that these arrived in good condition. They actually arrived in better condition than most sets that I buy from amazon.com. I will definitely be comfortable with buying from amazon.co.uk in the future.

    unfortunately in italy we can't receive lego from amazon.com

I expected the customs fee, but I had never heard of a 'broker' fee (it was $10). I've ordered other things (vinyl records, especially, some box sets) without any customs or broker fees, so this caught me by surprise.

    No, only thing I had to pay is GBP 6.95 shipping.

    Anyone here have any knowledge as to whether Amazon reports this to the government? I just don't want to receive a letter in the mail at the end of the year with a total of duty fees I owe. Farfetched? Probably. In line with our government? Absolutely.
