My daughter finally finished up the Republic Gunship after a long hiatus due to Spring busyness.  She left the stickers off (which is a first) bc we are planning on selling this one at some point, but my son and daughter really like this one.  Lots of playability and a sturdy build, and it usually ends up being loaded with about 6 extra mini figures and an occasional Friends mini-doll.  Pretty sure they also added the large 'rock shooter' missile from Coles Tread Assault 9444 to it to give it more firepower after we took the pics as well.  Ha!  

My son built 70903 The Riddler Riddle Racer. Awesome car, with some awesome minifigures. Calendar Man, Magpie and Kite-Man! (Hell yeah!)

Ohh once again! I can't wait for the write down here something else. When reading this article and watching image my daughter (4 Y) says, Papa, I need this baby! Maybe I and my daughter will learn here also. Thanks, everyone.

75101 First Order TIE Fighter

My son built set Kryptarium Prison Breakout 70591 from his Easter basket...his third ever non-SW set and his 2nd Ninjago set.  We watched seasons 1 and 2 of Ninjago over Spring Break last week whenever the kids needed a break from swimming and other shenanigans.  They are hooked now.

The minifigs in the set are great, and generally I have always thought Ninjago sets are well done other than the similarity between some of the sets over time (especially the vehicles).  My kids seem to have the inclination to collect some of the Ninjago characters minifigs, an inclination which I will hopefully squash given the amount of SW and Friends sets that we have amassed already.  Still, cool little set that the Easter bunny likely picked up from the BOGO 40% off on Amazon a couple weeks ago.

Stopped by the Lego store a while back with my kids and my daughter loved the Brickheadz, which kind of surprised me.  She ended up buying two of them, and has been carrying the Joker around with her ever since (ha!).  My son built the WU-CRU Training Dojo, which is a great little polybag.

My daughter and I built 41593 Captain Jack Sparrow Brickhead on a daddy daughter date night last week, which she followed up with 41586 Batgirl Brickhead earlier this week after it went on sale at TRU while we were spending $30 to get a free battlepod.  I am not a Brickheadz guy, but my daughter loves them!

My daughter got 41122 Adventure Camp Tree house for her 8th birthday and enjoyed building it, which a little help from me. Especially cheese-slopes and other small details she finds still tricky. And after building it she also enjoys playing with it.  

I always dug that set. Looks good.

I saw my nephew building something I can't determine, when I asked him, he said it's an alien from Jupiter. just got cracked from it!

My five year old daughter just wanted to mess around with some random bricks and figs today. I personally like the jungle cat mounted goblins.

My 9 year old son built the 30497 Star Wars First Order Heavy Assault Walker today and likes how easy it is to pose.

My son and I were looking through my miscellaneous boxes of stuff to go through, and we found a used 7623 Indiana Jones Temple Escape I had grabbed off of eBay a couple years ago.

 

No minifigs and no airplane. But it has the important parts.

 

He decided to MOC a little something from it. So here’s his alternative build, with a Speed Champions mini and a Minecraft sword.

For my son’s 6th birthday he got 76097 Lex Luthor Mech Takedown. I gotta say I love the look of this thing.

Doesn’t hurt that one of my all-time favorite super heroes, Firestorm was inside.
