March 31, 20169 yr @MarleyMoose Nice to know the Cape is not in as bad shape as HBO claims it is. There are a lot worse things you could be spending your nights doing.

March 31, 20169 yr @MarleyMoose I see you're on the Cape, what part? I grew up in Barnstable, but live up in Boston now.

Do you pronounce Eastham phonetically or does it sound like Chatham? I cannot duplicate the way my husband says his home town of Norfolk (kinda like Nor-fork, but my version always sounds like the f-bomb). I grew up in metrowest snobville, so I still don't have the accent, but my in-laws in Kingston sure do.
March 31, 20169 yr Cape Codders aren't afflicted with the Boston area accent. At least here on the Lower Cape. I pronounce Eastham with the H basically a soft T (East-tam). Chatham is sort of (Chat-um).
March 31, 20169 yr In the United States Forum you can start a thread related to a particular area. I'm mobile right now, otherwise I'd move the Boston chatta (chatter) to a new thread. Wicked pissa and all that.

April 16, 20169 yr Author Let me try a redirect... @newbie77 I've been reading quite a few of your post for quite some time and yet had no idea we were practically neighbors. Which recurring CL ads are you? Anyone part of NELUG?
August 7, 20187 yr Fellow Bay State Brickpickers, Tax Holiday this weekend August 11-12, 2018. It's back after so long. https://www.boston.com/news/local-news/2018/08/02/2018-massachusetts-sales-tax-holiday Maybe it's a good time to get that UCS MF....
