Have they approved a project that hit 10,000 votes and was part of their current licenses? Pretty sure the answer is no...  And that's why people think LEGO ought to tighten the restriction on the ideas. Too many people submit ideas that are rehashes of other ideas or old sets. It makes it hard to find the real good ones without sending hours scouring little Timmy's police boat that looks like a car run over by a semi truck.

This thing will be rejected because ehem LEGO has something very similar ehem being developed long before this is submitted to IDEAS

Its super cool that you have that kind of insider information.  You'll have to divulge more details of the currently in progress Lego project?  Will their BB-8 Roll? Is it brick built? Is it going to be R/C?????

I believe it was sarcasm

LEGO can reject something and then just say they had something similar in the works. It's possible they do of course, but hard to know for sure.

Lol.  It was sarcasm based how LEGO Ghostbusters HQ allegedly came to fruition (per the person who submitted a design of GBHQ to IDEAS).  I could not find the link to that blog atm.
