The old one did not contain a killer whale ;)

It's the current version where the killer whale ate the rower from the previous 5770 version. That's his girlfriend trying to find out what happened to him.

This new lighthouse looks not much different than the former from a few years ago.

As I missed out on the last lighthouse I'm looking forward to this set release.

5770 was better indeed :) but this one still is ok.

I think this set will be a great seller (red and white round pieces, light brick, and the orca).

I like this set too. This Creator line is great for people that can't afford the modular's... And all together that look great.

Between Scooby's Haunted Lighthouse, Friends' Heartlake Lighthouse, Ninjago's Lighthouse Siege, and this Lighthouse Point, you could say LEGO has gone rather lighthouse crazy. Ha. Still I love the killer whale here and though it took them a while I must admit they perfected the curvature of a real lighthouse.

Some of these smaller Creator buildings are really nice: Changing Seasons, Corner Deli, Lakeside Lodge.... If the price per piece was the same, RRP should be between 40-50€, but it appears to be a bit higher according to Brickset. They could have included a small boat.

This smaller collection of Creater is brilliant.

People that can't afford modular's have a great alternative.

And with all that are out in the last year or so it's a great addition to any Lego city...
