76056 - Rescue from Ra's al Ghul

Will update this first post when more info is available.

A few days ago there as a reported DC Comics Super-Heroes set that had not been revealed yet.  The only info known was that it would include Ra's al Ghul, the classic Batman villain.

The set name was revealed today - Rescue from Ra's al Ghul.  It is rumored the set will be a store exclusive.  It's unknown whether Ra's daughter, Talia, would be included.  Ra's was also the character played by Liam Neeson in the 2005 Batman Begins movie.

Just backordered at LEGO Shop at Home.

I see: " Backorders Accepted, will ship by Oct 20 2016

Seems this might be one of those shifting stocks backorders instead of an extra production run. I have a feeling this could be a winner (enen though the set kinda sucks :) )

This to me is the Raptor Escape set of this year. That set also disappeared almost immediately and was hard to find for months around this time of year before disappearing for good. Buy on sight.

I'm hard pressed to think this one is going to vanish quickly. If it does, than so be it. Brainiac Attack, another "exclusive" DC Super Heroes set, is still available at a discount via Target.com.

Maybe I'll miss the boat, but at least it won't be made out of bricks.

there is no way this thing disappears after 1 month c'mon people.....

The Walmarts near me seem to have them in stock, as well as their website.  Way too soon to be disappearing.  Could be a decent investment with the Ra's and Thalia minifigs

Not AFTER 1 month of release, but WITHIN one month of now? Maybe. Raptor Escape did it in a comparable time frame, Zombies did it, Brainiac was close. There's always that one set that takes us by surprise with its all too brief lifespan before it's taken away from us too soon.

And, of not, Raptor Escape and Ra's are both Walmart Exclusives.

I see a bunch of these on shelves. I walked into the Walmart this morning and picked one up. I also saw them at the LEGOLAND Discovery center. I should have bought it there with my 10% discount. I wasn't actually expecting it to be there. They also had Doctor Strange, when I asked about Tanker Truck Takedown, they didn't have an answer about if/when they would get it.
