I think we have to question what sets we’re going to see associated with the 2017 Movie.  I did strike me a little odd that 76059 Doc Ock's Tentacle Trap has Vulture in it, when I’d have expected him in the movie sets. Minifig duplication? wouldn’t be the first time.

The Spider-Man Web Warriors are comic/cartoon focused and look like those costume designs. The MCU sets have different designs. I don't see why they wouldn't have certain characters in both designs.

My son and I love this set...we are slowly collecting all the Spidey Villains (next up...Doc Oct set with Vulture) and adding them to this set. Fun stuff, and yes, we even threw the Hulkbuster in there too...someone has to challenge the Rhino!

An idea would be to buy two more sets and make an extra long bridge to hold the mele you're about to have! Very nice.

Love the double bridge!

This set displays very well with 2 bridge sets as seen above. The play features are nothing short of remarkable, and there are a ton of them!! The figures are GREAT.. and now the price is GREAT. If you pass these up at $60 a pop, well let's just say I wouldn't. 

Well I'll join in. I'll grab at least 4 with the current sale. This should be around another year at least but no telling if a better discount will be had.

I am very tempted to snag another one.  Just have one now.  Does the Target sale end soon?

Buy 2 at Target with the deal and red card and they come out to around $57.

Bought 2 a while ago when they were -40%, built them, and modded them.

Raised the arc by 2 1/3 to fit a train through, raised the pilars by 3, and took out all the moving parts.

Shortened it to 80 studs to fit well into a Lego town, train running in between the modular houses (Pet shop works well here at 16 wide)

Looks fantastic, but I feel sorry for the poor guy that lives on the second story of that townhouse!

I was inspired by Rotterdam when it still had the train 4 meters above ground through the city, with at least 24 trains per hour on 2 tracks, reason enough for a tunnel and to melt the steel bridge. Imagine living in that house back then...

Yeah I noticed that too. I didn't really expect a cabbie, with Aunt May there. But the little police cycle thing without an officer threw me for a loop.

I'm going to assume a Police Helicopter transporting a law breaking cabbie to finish off the set.  No heli really makes the set feel incomplete.

A helicopter makes much more sense than an ATV in a metropolitan area.

I bought 3x$44ea from wm.  Any thoughts on the possible price point this could reach in say, 2-3 years?  

 

All of my local wm and targets have these cleared out. Also, I am curious if there will be another shipment of these or is this set slated for retirement soon?
