My bet is that they are going to give us last years promo train along with the gingerbread house, with the gingerbread house serving as the train station.

I can see $99.99 with tracks a la 7911 Constitution Train, but no motor.  Why would LEGO want to include a motor when they can sell you as an add on for $15?

I hope Lego puts out a good winter set this year. It's been two years since the last one. That piece of crap remake last year doesn't count.

I've got some too, but I'm just surprised... seems like a missed opportunity to upsell if it doesn't already come with them. Of course, they could always sell the train, then an add-on pack with motors and track!

maybe the train will spur some sales of this

It's got tan pieces. That checks out. From 2010 though.

I really don't think after last years remake joke, that they'll do another remake so soon. I'm thinking this is almost definitely a brand new design. I also don't think they'll be a track given the $99.99 price.

It is not possible to have it as an 1 : 1 remake because the old Holiday Train was prepared for 9V tuning not for RC tuning..

I saw the box today and can confirm the holiday train is a go. 734 pieces
