It depends for resale. Both sets are retired. But they're at opposite ends of the demand curve from each other. Also at opposite ends of the discount curve. You've got to know what your own risk/reward tolerances are for your business model and do some research on what the market's going to look like for them.

Going to be a year or two to get there again. Ebay bucks today 8% over $25, 6% under. Got the email just in time right as I was checking out on something. Love that.

The modular community is quite sizable within LEGO enthusiasts (trains being second), and they’re quite passionate and oftentimes obsessive completistionists. Long story short, there’s a few popular MOCs that requires 2-5 brick banks to build, and it has left many within that community desiring it. Not to mention that there’s always a growing base towards modular cities. Brick bank growth may return sooner than expected. If anything, the Amazon dump of recent inventory is good on the long run as it has allowed those in the modular community to show off their builds more, thus “marketing” the brick bank even more. Just curious, which MOC(s) would require 2-5 brick banks to build? Thx

Like sitting on free profit. Hearing rumors about them doing a remake Ok, but they won't do the remake RIGHT AWAY. I'll have a window to sell in. The window lasted about 2 minutes Ok, but like, it'll be different enough people will want both. Hearing rumors the only difference is better figures and a few cheese slopes Well, that's not even logical. They won't ONLY change a cheese slope They only changed a freaking cheese slope Me selling 10188's at 399.99 and hoping people have ebay bucks.

We've all done this before in our own minds when we make an investing mistake. For the record, I have too much OFS. That amazon dump of OFS was admittedly a bit annoying, simply because OFS is not technically a modular, so the modular community’s OCD / completionist tendencies aren’t affected by OFS shortage as much. I actually had more DOs, but those sold quick. The Lego modular community is always growing, yes always. As long as we keep making babies, there’s always a percentage that will pick up lego every year. Lastly, Brick bank isn’t pet shop, this was but a momentary dump. Based upon the shipments I've received from Kmart / Sears, I think they're actually using up what boxes they have left because I have yet to receive a real box from them. More like two boxes taped (not very well) together.
