Local targets have done the opposite in terms of pricing. Still full price for all sets except GW which is a paltry 30%. They have moved two older sets to the regular aisle and added SF and Paris. Still waiting for the magical culling that was supposed to happen for all those supposed retired sets.

I've seen these sets pop up at all my local targets in the main LEGO aisles.

Hit two targets last night with the expanded toy area.  Both were well stocked on Technic, Architecture, and Elves.  But  ****.com was showing sold out for both locations.  And none of that inventory was even showing on Target app.

It's retiring. Not uncommon for them to do that with big sets on the way out. 

It's back in stock from call to check. Wish they had a good freebie going right now. 

I guess that makes sense. Just clear out remaining inventory.

Several others that do not have the expanded toy section have the new architecture sets in the regular lego aisle as well.

I think target has realized that there is a demand for the Architecture sets and with no more TRU they are going to try and stock sets that Walmart doesn't.

Went to a Barnes and Noble to get a my kid a book...

They were stocked full of architecture sets including Chicago, Buckingham Palace, and Eiffel Tower. All overpriced of course.

unless you want to pay more for the original , I don't see why not especially if you like the vehicle and the design .

It’s a really fun build, but I wouldn’t go too deep on it.

Would be for personal build only. Don't need it, but it would be cool to have next to my original classic one. Probably going to bite, Ive got 100 VIP credit ill probably put towards this.

actually went back about a week or 2 ago and read a few pages of posts for old time sake.  Need more members that use fun words like douchenozzle and toolsack.   When you are down and out and just can't find HP at 50% off I suggest you do the same and you will feel much better about where you stand in life in general.  Either that or be pulled into a deep depression.
