Lol. Bought 40 items from Barnes and Noble in one order. They shipped it in, like, 25 boxes.

I'm surprised they even shipped it.

Hogwarts Great Hall 75954 - 50% off, $49 at Walmart in-store

Walmart in-store clearance varies wildly from store-to-store and region-to-region. These deals belong in the Walmart thread, not in the Daily Deals thread (which is for broadly available deals). FWIW, none of the WMs in my area have any HP sets on clearance. Only deal is the 75955 Hogwarts Express for $64.

That's not really true.  Used to be 20% or higher was worth a post.  If something was retiring and going over retail we posted as well.  If it was in depth clearance discussions then sure post in the clearance thread.

By that logic one would not post any of the Lego in store deals or promos cause you know only a small portion of the users have access to them.  So why post those at all?

Same with half the stores that don't exist in people regions.  Yet guess what we still post them.  If it doesn't pertain to you then move on.

Not everyone reads each thread so if someone is willing to post something that might benefit someone else then leave them alone.

Heck yeah.

So, use NowInStock for in-stock alerts, but is there a site that tracks price reductions?  BSeek is generally unreliable both in terms of displaying correct pricing and available stock.

Yeah, I guess that was a bit unfair to the OP. I decided to respond because I saw several mentions on the DD of WM in-store prices that were not generic rollbacks, but rather local or regional clearance prices, which IMO belong in the clearance thread.

Of course the other banter here shouldn't be in this thread either.

ymmv in store deal -  trackers showing target has architecture great wall of china  50% off ($24.98) at pretty much every store in my zone that has stock.

still a decent number of stores left with stock including 1 store with a ton so i'm going to wait it out a little further and see if i can get them for under $20 ?

Edited by cladner

Might want to keep an eye on this one. Ever since they got stock in, the price has been dropping very incrementally over the past couple of days. Right now 10% off.

No change that I have seen at any stores on my radar this week.  One has them for 50% off an hr away (been that way for weeks).  Architecture at 50% = arm sweep.  I wouldn’t risk it over $5+/-.   If you can’t make money on that, you are in the wrong business.

I want to know what their plan is with all of those 42077's and the remainder of those Architecture sets (SoL, NY, London, etc)

Their idea of expanding toys, by adding a section next to electronics was dumb.  No one knows it’s there, except us.  I am not complaining.

I saw one of the three near me that have "expanded toy sections" start putting SOL in the regular lego aisle.

Several others that do not have the expanded toy section have the new architecture sets in the regular lego aisle as well.

I think target has realized that there is a demand for the Architecture sets and with no more TRU they are going to try and stock sets that Walmart doesn't.
