Not store manager, usually the toys manager or the AGM over that area.  I usually just ask them if they would be willing to take the clearance down farther if I buy up a lot of their inventory.  They usually aren't willing to if they don't have a lot left or if you aren't looking at buying much.  To get the markdown's further I usually am dropping $300-$1000 depending on the size of the sets.

 

Don't forget to be checking those Kohls stores also. Been scooping up $75 City Hospitals and $12 Sweet Surprises along with lots of Kohls cash!

Our Kohls store got wiped!  There was a better selection at our Kmart............and it went out of business 2 years ago?

Anyone seeing Kohl's do any further markdowns?  Since it's early for some, I waited at 25% and wanted to see if they made it further.

Went to 2 Kohl's today, 31058 went to $4.49 (70% off) but that was it. Everything else on clearance was still 25% off

Thanks for the info.  It's not often there is someone in the Lego area in my local Targets.  But I am willing to try if the opportunity arises.

All the Speed Champions set descriptions are reading as Ninjago sets in the Target app. I ordered all the single cars we'll see what comes! Didn't risk store pickup, I called my closest Target yesterday and they said the app was wrong and that they didn't have them in stock even though the app said they did (although no aisle listed). My theory is that they have them but they're buried in the back until they do the toy reset.

You did well - I risked it and all the new Speed Champions sets (also ordered a few older ones) got their in store pickup cancelled, even though they showed as In Stock in the store in the app. There was an internal memo enforcing a 1/6 hold on these sets, so likely they will get put out on shelves today or tomorrow.

I just picked up an online order, took about 30 mins to get the email.  Sets were the right sets and in great shape.  None on the shelves though.  Must've grabbed them from back for me straight to CS.

An order on the other side of town was canceled this morning, even though they have stock.  What I'm after is the new City Harvester.  BN had it in store yesterday but I want Target's $23.99!

I had one order for the F40 go through and the others I had to choose another store. I'll see what happens to those two.

EDIT: Cancelled those two. Now they do not show as available for in store pickup.

Note, Amazon has price-matched some of them, specifically the Camaro ZL1 and the F40. Others are better at Target. Yes, you won't get 5% Red Card discount at Amazon, but you get 5% Prime discount if you pay with your Prime VISA card.

Kohl’s has Minecraft skeleton attacks 21146 for 50% off but limit of 2 and shipping only.  This is a good one for Target or Walmart price matches before they sell out.  19.99 is a very good price for this set

Kmart has a TON of sets 40% off online for those who have SYW points to burn. The ones that say "add to cart to see price" are classified as "hot buys" so coupons won't work on them. Otherwise there's some good pickups there

Overwatch at Walmart in store 20% off. 6 of each set (only 4 Bastion) in the display without Gibralter. Out of stock everywhere online. Not available for in store pickup.  Need to get out there and search it seems.
