AMZ shows 150 for boxed, 115 for frustration-free.  How is that a good thing?

The frustration free I've received from Amazon have been in the original LEGO shippers

frustration free is a very good thing on AMZ,  for LEGO anyways

Agree, frustration free means Amazon shipping box + LEGO Shipping Box + LEGO set box.  Best way to get a damn near perfect LEGO set box with no shelf wear.

Yep.  My LEGO store is prohibited from selling sets in the shipping boxes.  So amz is the only way I can get them unless I catch a wm associate before they break them down.

these are actually all different though,  nice heavier duty folding box and single sets instead of the multi case packs LEGO get (other than Porsche).   Seems only Lord Bezos gets them and more and more sets are getting added in that larger box size.  LEGO stores do not get them at all either which is kind of a downer.

Lot of stores are like that for 2 reasons.  It is a theft deterrent to so employees can't switch out contents and pass on to customer and easier for them on the shelves to restock.  When they are cased up cases tend to get shifted and mixed in as time goes on and some sets get buried for a long time.

Pic of a Kessel run case attached.  That's normally a 2 packer through regular LEGO.

A quick side note, but does anyone fulfill orders by slapping a shipping label on the “frustration free box” and ship it as is?

Only if you're fond of returns and dislike return customers.

I have not seen this, but I’ve heard people talk of this.  I believe it’s more typical of $hitty eBay sellers than Amazon dealers

Did you mean directly on the retail packaging or on an AZ frustration-free shipper?

Pro tip:  select amazon frustration free packaging and then select "ship in amazon box" and get a double minty fresh box.  Mint Lego shipping box and of course the mint Lego set box as well.

Guess I should've clarified;  if you're asking if Amazon does it, I've never seen it. It's always been exactly as Plastic described.  Set inside LEGO carton inside Amz shipping box.  If you're saying do WE as sellers do it, I wouldn't.  Sure, your avg customer will open it and be delighted at the condition of the set because those LEGO boxes are bulletproof.  But if you ship it the way you should to an AFOL, there's a chance you'll be added to their favorite sellers and get a possible future sell(s) out of it.

I guess I should clarify, we’ve always shipped retail boxes inside an exterior carton...none of that label on retail box... that’s a crime against humanity... However,  more recently we’ve been getting more and more of the individual Lego striped case boxes. What I was trying to ask was if anyone had had any probekems shipping those with simply a label on it. As of now, We’ve been double boxing, but still considering if it’s even necessary...

The LEGO shipping boxes are fine to slap a label on. You might consider wrapping them in parcel paper.

But do note that if you get frustration-free packaging and foolishly ask for a gift receipt, Amazon may very well open the frustration-free box, slip in the little gift note, and then crush the heck out of the set and the frustration-free box when they seal it back up. So now I don't ask for gift receipts if the option to ship it in a separate Amazon box is offered.

I just picked up three like new Destiny's bounty from Amazon warehouse for 112 each.  I have had good experience in the past.  Usually zero damage or issues, for like new.

Beat me to it.  Don't think I've seen it this low before.

They were 99 dollars during the March 27th bonanza at Target. But aside from that..yeah..I think that's the lowest we've seen.
