BTW....some of you guys just need to use that device that's glued to your hands and do your own research to make the right decisions based on your specific budget and strategy. Sorry....little rant A couple links for the noobs. And for our veterans, there certainly is a better place to post your hauls: Over the last few days my email has been flooded with the prospects of Adventure Time, and questioning half off Elves sets. December 27, 20186 yr Does Target price match with BN on clearance items? Looking at 60158. They won’t even price match their own clearance items.

Minecraft sets are appealing only to those who have played the game or have experience with the game. I used to laugh at the sets until my son started playing the game and I realized how great the game was and how closely the sets replicated the game. My brother (who is a grown up) has spent hundreds of hours digging in that game ?

December 27, 20186 yr PSAIf you’re about to post a “question” here about wether or not to buy a really popular set at an enormous discount just do us all a favor and turn off your phone.

Also, BN allowed me to merge all of my rewards cards into a single GC. Now I don’t have to spend them all by February. Might try this at your local store as well. And get those BOGO cookies. Yum!!!

Check back on these Architecture prices in a few years. Unless you're only thinking quick flipping, it's hard not to make money..
December 27, 20186 yr I’ve never had problems with Target price matching BN and Walmart. Two rules: 1. Request the price match at customer service 2. Be polite I’ve had Target match Amazon, Walmart, etc. as long as a) item is in stock online and not sold by 3rd party. Also, see 1 and 2 above. Especially 2. Never a problem.

Not according to their policy, or my personal experience. I price-match Amazon on nearly every visit. Have had no issue with Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and most other retailers either.

Good on you though, that's a VERY playable Technic set already going at RRP+20%. ?

For the record, I filled up the child seat extended cart with 80 Buckingham Palaces, a couple Great Walls (also 50% off), a couple 42079 forklifts at 50% off, and some 50% off elves. Still a lot of technic and elves in this secluded section of Target, most still at 30% off, some at 50%. The rest of the architecture was rrp. This was extremely challenging with a 2.5 year old, so I also had to buy a toy school bus which was definitely not a daily deal. I left 20 in a Target in Houston, TX for anyone who wants them. The cashier at self checkout was extremely helpful even after I maxed out the Red Card and was flagged for fraud by Bank of America. Asked no questions about why I was buying and helped me load them into my car. A Target I visited 4 miles away yesterday was cleared of everything clearance except for 3 Moana sets.

December 28, 20186 yr Why in the world do these stores have so many copies of the same set?! I don't think LEGO stores carry that many Buckinghams.

These sets were not on these same shelves a couple weeks ago. It was a much more varied assortment with a lot more bare space.
