Armswept a six deep shelf of 42076 technic hovercrafts for 40...here is hoping i won't regret that.

Hit 4 targets total. 1 was a complete strike out, 2 were pretty descent and 1 was a jackpot. Like people behind you in checkout have their eyes popping out as set after set comes out of the cart kind of jackpot.

Overall a good day.....not amazing but a good day.

Several Walmarts have the Friends Heartlake Resort for $74 around here but hesitant to pull the trigger at only 26% off?  What do you guys think?

Since it is for a personal build the box condition does not matter.  Thanks for the B&N tip though!  Strange they have not sold out and wonder if that means anything, if at all.

True....but Lego clearance sells out fast where I live.  I did offer it to a couple of Moms, since I have already some of this Elves Goblin set, who were shopping for their daughters and found out they were more interested in the few Friends scraps that were left.  One Mom said her daughter likes to build the sets and they sit around, calling them expensive puzzles.  Funny stuff!.

I just tried to buy 20 and it said the limit was 5. I placed an order for 5 that went through. I tried to place another order and it poofed. It looks like I got the last 5. I think what it means is that everyone was too busy chasing the 30-40% Walmart shenanigans when the truly good deal could have been ordered from their sofa. I'm surprised that nobody was talking about this and that they lasted this long. Thanks OP. Great deal.

Seeing this made me steer away from some of the speed champion sets. They are heavily stocked in quite a few of them.

Opposite around here, Elves sold out long before Christmas.  Can't find any at regular price, let alone on clearance.

Thats kind of odd. ND Toys has had very good costumer service when I’ve order from their store.

Gotcha, yeah I had already posted that I was able to pick up 3 Hospitals at $74 in Walmarts around here which is a no-brainer.  Wasn't sure about the Resorts yet though.

IDK...Bricklink has such a small market share...a month ago I bought this set for $45 on Ebay and was disappointed I didn't get 3 more at that price (and I'm supposed to be "informed" compared to the typical buyer).

One could literally buy these at bricklink and flip them on Ebay for double (which would be close to the cheapest price)

Why don't you just use the Target site?  It should tell you whether the stores around you have it in stock

Well the site is showing in stock for a store about 30 miles away but someone at the store said they couldn't find it although I'm not sure I trust either source.?

No other resource will give you any more of an accurate guess.  Even when the Target API worked, it was always delayed.  The devs told me it took time to update.  Then people pick up things and move things.  If the Target site isn't accurate, nothing else will be.

yep.....one target around me has it in stock.....but I was there today....and there weren't no hospitals to be had....

 

Phantom inventory sucks
